Overall Decent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Z690 TOMAHAWK Wi-Fi DDR4 is a fairly solid motherboard and is fantastic if you don't want to deal with the hassle that is installing a Wi-Fi card into your rig. However, a problem that might surface (and definitely hampered MY experience) is the MSI USB provided not containing the correct or up-to-date drivers necessary for the Wi-Fi module, creating this weird and frustrating loop of being unable to update to the latest version of Windows 10 to install the drivers, but you don't have the Wi-Fi drivers installed correctly, but then you can't INSTALL those Wi-Fi drivers either because you're not on the latest version of Windows 10. Definitely took a good few years off my life expectancy with the amount of frustration I was feeling because of this. Without that experience, I'd give it a stronger rating, but what I got is what I got, so the best I can go with is a mid-range score. Not too shabby, but you'll probably come across VERY frustrating problems near the tail-end.

Most Cost Effective Motherboard to Date
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With bottlenecking from my last motherboard, this one was perfect with my 850 watt PSU and i9 CPU. The CPU temps on this motherboard looks great with the voltage regulator module being the only issue. Luckily with a change to the power limits of the board from the given intel default, OC mode can make this motherboard amazing. I have lost the hassle of setting up my LAN environment because of the boards Wi-Fi setup. The core boost, memory boost, and Wi-Fi 6GHz technology make this the best board for its price point. Would recommend for anyone looking for a new motherboard.

Great Mother of Boards

Came with some cool looking stickers. Product support so far seems good. Best Buy has a lot of good products if you are looking to build a PC from the ground up.
