I've always had good experiences with MSI's boards, and this one is no exception. I love that the M.2 shields come with thermal pads pre-installed, and the built-in wifi as well as the back panel push buttons for BIOS flashing (as well as the CMOS reset if you get a little too crazy with it). Using DDR4 is also a plus in my mind, as it can save you a buck by either reusing your RAM you already have, or still being cheaper than DDR5 at the present time while still being plenty fast

Has just about everything youd need for a gaming rig. GPU slots, M.2 slots, wifi ready and has two antenna for a stronger connection. The set up for this one was a little confusing, however i was booting up hard drives with existing data already on them. Its way easier to install the Windows Media Tool program on a flash drive or CDand boot the hard drive and reinstall. Lots of bios settings and is working great with my i7 13700k / rx 6700xt

This board is a monster! my 13700k runs cool all day long with a 420 aio, overclocked to 5.2 all core. ddr4 ram is still super viable in 2024 and again the overclocking support is second to none. Tons of m.2 storage as well! The board looks beautiful with no excess rgb etc, which I prefer.

I lucked out with this fantastic motherboard. It's firm and stylish, everything is clearly labeled. The ez debug light feature was a surprise for me, which helped alot with troubleshooting issues while installing. It was my first time building and it pointed me in the right direction. The intergrated wifi is fast enough that I can play battle royale games or mmos while also watching a 4k video at the same time with no issues. Overall, its a solid pick for a mid-range set up with a i5 or higher.

Amazing design and aesthetics motherboard, easy to install, slots to install ram is 2 and 4 (left to right) or 1 and 3 (right to left) comes with reset botton and cmos flash in the I/O slot, amazing feature but very sensible. comes with two wifi antena that screws into I/O slot. firmware and bios setting is ez to navigate but has non standard naming for usb memory to organize boot order for OS.

Good value when it is on sale. This board might be overkill for a simple PC build. Supports 13th gen Intel processor out of the box, no BIOS update needed. I went with a DDR4 build for my latest mid-high end gaming PC due to DDR5 ram having slightly higher latency.

A high end board with high end praise from me, still going years later and even for last gen Ram, its a dang good board.

Good board, installed myself as a replacement. Took about 10 minutes to switch everything over. Instructions and labels were easy to follow. If you are building new for gaming would recommend the board with ddr5 but this easily plays all of my games and vr on an I5 processor. Like that it supports the wider video cards as I also upgraded to a 3 slot nvidea 4070 ti. *Write down your windows product key if you are upgrading. My old board stopped working and when I switched to the new board windows would not find my key and I had to buy a new copy.

This MSI motherboard had all the features that I was looking for. Also happy it worked right out of the box. It was not my original choice, but the board I had purchased from another company was faulty.

Awesome motherboard, nice to have new gen features and still be able to use DDR4 ram, just one thing I don’t have to upgrade

Great MB, had to upgrade my rig but im not rich so this fit my budget. Has everything i wanted and more.

Great mobo does everything i need i paired it with a i7 13700k and a ftx 4090 no problems

Used this for my build and my girlfriend's build and have had no problems. It's stable and fast, love that it has built in bluetooth and wifi, after all the issues I had with DDR5 I'm glad to be back on a DDR4 that works well. Love all the slots for storage and MSI makes things super easy to update, unlike my old Gigabyte.

The board is great as long as it doesn't just die on you. I bought the board less than 2 months ago and had just got done playing Diablo 4, shut it down. got some sleep. turned on my computer and nothing. wouldn't even go into bios. just kept restarting over and over. so hopefully the exchanged board I got last week stays working.

I switched to Intel after buying a 7900x and DDR5. I spent literally 3 days doing everything I could and all I could see was blue screen after frame drop after blue screen. I was ready to stop buying PC parts forever. Then I bought a 13700k and this motherboard and it worked right out of the box. Sucks I had to roll back to DDR4 but the performance loss at 4k is small. I love my new PC! 4080fe, 13700k, DDR4 3600mhz. Defiantly would recommend this MB.

Love this mother board. The 13000k series seems to be a little more picky with ram so if you are buying this MB to keep your ddr4, make sure it works with your ram first. This board also has 4 m2 slots with great heat dispersion built in. a great z790 mb with all the features if you want to keep your ddr4

I bought this for my son so that he could upgrade his computer and the geek squad did all the upgrades for me. No questions asked, including putting in the chip power supply and everything else I needed for him to have a new system. It’s a great service to have.
