Faulty Motherboard

I believe that the motherboard I had purchased was just faulty and the fault of the manufacturer. I'm sure not every motherboard would come faulty. However, it does affect my overall rating of the product. I can't say i would recommend the item or not since the one I received wasn't working as intended.

Good quality but...

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had bought a new MB to replace mine since it went out but I recently tried to install it by; checking the power and CPU cables are snug, switch DDR4 around to test for dead DRAM and DDR4, switched PCIE around. The motherboard is pulling info and working with no display because the LED fans are lighting up. I attempted to update BIO's. I have the following components; Tomahawk Z790, EVGA 850 GQ, Intel 13th Gen I7K , 4* DDR4, two Sony 2TB M.2, Toshiba 2 TB SSD.

Decent card

A quicks search and I find this is a problem that has been happening a lot to other buyer. A lot of them ended up buying a new motherboard. Customer support through the manufacturer is a joke I’ve sent several support tickets with no reply.

Questionable Quality Control

However, my excitement quickly dwindled when I noticed the nvme heatsink attachments weren’t soldered. They pulled completely out of the board when i tried to unscrew the heatsink to install my nvme drives.

Another awesome MSI board

I opted for DDR4 as the price is a bargain for this overbuilt, beast of a board and I don't want to delve into DDR5 just yet. The board has plenty of IO options and was easy to set up. Definitely recommend.
