This monitor is incredible. Only drawback is the pixel refresh you need to do if it’s in continuous use for 16+ hours. Other than that the color quality is top tier. 360hz is GLOSSY SMOOTH. I got this to play competitive CS2 and I’m very grateful. Every friend is super jealous and want to play on it. Paired with a 4080 Super and I’m in heaven. Will never look back.

    Great monitor, bad cable management

The panel on this monitor is amazing. I purchased it because it is OLED, 1440 P resolution, and 360 Hz. It does all of these things amazingly; my only gripe is how bad the cable management is. If you use the stand that comes in the box there is a way to route the cables through the stand. however, I use a monitor arm and the cables come straight down out the bottom of the monitor. my monitor arm does have built-in cable management. However the cable has to be routed back up to my arm which loses a lot of cable length doing so and even then I can still see the cables poking down below the bottom of my monitor if I view it from a lower angle. I didn’t see anyone else talking about this so I figured it would be worth mentioning. Otherwise this monitor looks absolutely amazing and great for competitive FPS game

Best monitor I’ve ever used. I came from a 165hz 1440p VA panel previously, and literally every single aspect of this monitor is better. I love the colors, response times, and the high refresh rate feels so smooth for competitive games. If you’re like me and play a lot of competitive shooters but also like playing single player games this monitor is definitely worth it. The only downside Is there’s no firmware updates, but for me personally the monitor does everything I need it to do so I’m not really that disappointed about that. Also I always hear that text fringing can be a problems on OLEDs but for this one I haven’t noticed it. All in all great monitor highly recommend!

Coming from the Optix MAG272CRX monitor that I have been using for the past 4 years, the 240hz was great, but the panel the 1080p where definitely getting out dated. This monitor is a great upgrade, my favorite part is the glossy panel, not many manufactures use the glossy panels on OLED, which was my selling point on this monitor. The picture quality is amazing, along with the true blacks, its literally night and day difference from my previous monitor. The high refresh rate took me a little while to get used to, due to how smooth it picture quality is, even coming from a 240hz monitor. Overall best monitor for the money.

Positive experience with the MSI MAG 271QPX. The good:3rd gen QD-OLED, 360hz, colors and blacks, HDMI2.1, elegant and clean design. What can be improved: included power cable is short, some VRR flicker, firmware upgradability.

This is such a wonderful monitor, I have tested a bunch of other OLED monitors with similar specs, but overall this has been the clear winner due to its price and features. High refresh rate, QD OLED glossy panel which has better text clarity, great HDR, the list goes on. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

I’m not new to OLED, before this my prior monitor was actually LG C1 And also a 15 inch portable OLED monitor, which was in fact glossy Not a huge fan of the Mat finish on a larger screen, I do have an OLED steam deck, and because of the lighting areas I use my steam deck. The mat finish is. Much needed much needed I have very good control with the lighting where my monitor is so if you also have a good control with lighting, I would highly recommend this monitor if not, I would go with a Mat finish variant

My one week use review. I game on both ps5 and pc. This has turned out to be a great monitor with plenty of useful features, especially the FPS mode. After updating the monitor’s firmware, I verified that the 1440p output with VRR works on the ps5. I have not noticed any screen flickering yet. The reason I have three stars is because there is one partially dead pixel near the center of the screen that gets stuck on red. Other than that, it’s been working good.

Best OLED monitor deal I've seen this year!

I’ve been shopping around for OLED monitors since the start of 2024 and until now I’ve been out of luck. Even after Black Friday, I gave up on finding an affordable price, until I stumbled across this MSI monitor. Compared to monitors I’ve seen in-store, this model blows the other Samsung, LG, and other MSI models out of the water. My current setup has an old 1080p 240hz TN panel monitor and a 240 Hz 1440p monitor, and the QD-OLED panel on this model is a significant improvement over both. At this price point with 360hz, 0.03 ms, and 1440p backed with the burnout warranty, this purchase was a no-brainer. The level of detail provided by this screen has completely changed my online gaming experience for the better. Vibrant colors, a crystal clear and smooth picture. No dead pixels or noticeable defects on my monitor.

VERY good monitor, OLED Looks Great for everything (Games, Movies, etc.) Colors are great. Very fast response time (motion clarity), far better than every LCD/LED. 360hz so input lag and smoothness are immaculate for competitive gaming as well. The MSI 271QPX is also the cheapest 360hz QD-OLED, and they all use the same panel. The MSI seems to have the most accurate image quality as well. My only problem with this monitor (and every 3rd Gen QD-OLED) is that it has Dithering / "Moving" Lines in dark scenes, very noticeable at 60hz (such as PS5 & Switch). But if you play on PC or on console at 120hz through 360hz, it's not noticeable.

Pros: Impressive Display Quality: The glossy OLED screen delivers stunning visuals that are a significant step up in terms of color and detail. Text Clarity: Despite what others have said, I find the text on this monitor to be extremely clear, making it one of the best for visual clarity that I've encountered. Cons: Lack of Firmware Updates: MSI claims that this monitor doesn't require firmware updates, which I find unusual and potentially limiting for future functionality. Screen Flickering: There is noticeable flickering when alt-tabbing from games, which takes about 10 seconds to resolve. Intrusive Burn-In Prevention: The monitor's burn-in prevention feature, which includes a mandatory "panel protect" pop-up every 4 hours, can be very disruptive. It shuts off the monitor to perform screen cleaning, which is frustrating during uninterrupted gaming sessions. High Price: Priced between $700-799, this monitor feels overpriced given the issues I've encountered. Performance Issues During Overclocking: When troubleshooting overclock settings on my computer, the monitor occasionally lags and requires a restart to recognize inputs from my PC. For competitive gamers, I recommend considering the BenQ 240Hz monitor with DyAc+ technology over this MSI model. The BenQ monitor provides a clearer and more stable gaming experience, especially for competitive gaming. The DyAc+ technology significantly enhances clarity during rapid movements from my experience. Considering this monitor is in the price range of 700-800 if you spend an extra 200 you could get the 540Hz variant of the flagship BenQ gaming monitor. For what it's trying to be I don't think this monitor has a sturdy place especially in the competitive gaming space. Beautiful screen though. Returning this monitor in anticipation of better monitors in the future.

The MSI 2K Monitor stands as a testament to the evolution of visual technology, offering users an unparalleled viewing experience that transcends expectations. As an avid consumer of cutting-edge displays, I found myself captivated by the sheer brilliance of this monitor. First and foremost, let's talk about resolution. The 2K resolution on this monitor is nothing short of breathtaking. With a pixel density that finely straddles the line between sharpness and performance, every image, video, or game is rendered with crystal clarity. Whether you're immersed in the vast landscapes of a virtual world or poring over intricate details in graphic design work, the MSI 2K Monitor delivers an immersive experience that's second to none. But it's not just about resolution; it's about the overall visual fidelity, and this monitor excels in every aspect. The colors are rich and vibrant, thanks to its impressive color accuracy and wide color gamut. From the deepest blacks to the most vivid hues, every shade is reproduced with stunning accuracy, making for a truly lifelike viewing experience. Moreover, the MSI 2K Monitor boasts excellent contrast ratios and brightness levels, ensuring that every scene pops with depth and dimensionality. Whether you're watching a movie in a dimly lit room or working on a project in broad daylight, the monitor adapts effortlessly to its surroundings, delivering consistent and eye-catching visuals.

Pros: -Great colors -Works fine out of the box -Solid Build Quality -Perfect response time, motion clarity is excellent if your PC can drive 360Hz Cons: -Can't disable DSC, faint artifacts visible in very specific scenarios and latency is probably not as good as it could be. 1440@360@8BPC SDR can fit uncompressed into HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, please add a mode for that in the next revision/successor. And add DP 2.1 so next gen NVIDIA (and current gen AMD) GPUs can run full spec without DSC.

This monitor blew me away. For context, I am a collegiate esports player (Specifically Overwatch 2) so I was mostly interested by the high refresh rate and low response time that OLED offers. I also enjoy single player games like Cyberpunk, RDR2, Ready or Not, etc. In terms of refresh rate, yea its very fast and noticeably better than 240hz. I know a lot of people say that its hard to notice the jump from 240 to 360, but if you play fast paced games at a high level, you will most likely notice. The colors on this monitor also blew me away. They are a bit saturated out of the box, but there are adequate color settings in the OSD to fit to your liking. HDR looks amazing as expected and for some reason, this panel also looks significantly more detailed compared to my previous 240hz 1440p IPS panel. That may have something to do with the OLED technology. Overall, it is a joy to play games on this regardless of the genre. One thing to note is that this is the MAG variant and it will not be receiving any firmware update support. If this is something that bothers you, I would recommend spending $50 more for the MPG variant. They both use the same panel but that one will receive firmware updates. I dont understand why MSI did this and dont agree with it but, hey, what can ya do. I would recommend this to anyone who is currently on the fence, as the panel is breathtaking.

This monitor is great for gaming. 360hz and a low response time is perfect for playing competitive games. You really can't beat the type of picture that OLED puts out. You also do not have to worry about burn-in with the OLED care 2.0 mode that will reduce the risk. Overrall a great monitor and a great price!

I would ignore that two star review that someone left before the product could even physically ship out as it just came in stock 24 hours ago. OLED monitors are one of the most pleasurable experiences I've had. I own an LG C8 TV and have used it for years running Twitch streams and games with no issues or image retention. I've always been a fan of clarity and backlight strobing growing up with a BenQ monitor my entire life I do enjoy this OLED panel a lot. I've used the 2k 360hz Asus with ULMB but couldn't stand bleeding of IPS and poor contrast. I tried out the 540hz Asus panel as well which is brighter than the IPS with ULMB on but once you go to 2k it becomes very hard to transition back to 1080p. As far as motion clarity obviously panels with ULMB or Dyac will have better motion but these OLED panels are getting very close. I've found in my older age I can react better with an OLED panel due to the resolution and contrast VS backlight strobing. Everything is enjoyable on this monitor even just looking at images or videos on webpages. There are tons of videos on OLED monitors if you want some in depth reviews. I would buy this and use it for a few years or wait for the 480hz Asus / LG which will have some form of black-frame insertion for further motion clarity. I wouldn't worry about image retention either I've used the 240hz LG OLED for a year and play Overwatch on it for 8+ hours daily no issues.
