Good entry mobo. Has some decent features. The lighting is cool. Does not come with a speaker. Does come with alot of bloatware that you don't have to install. Everything works as it should. Good msi quality. Comes with 2 sata cords as well as a gpu bridge. A good value board for the money.

Definitely great for first timers! Setting this bad boy up was a piece of cake and very user friendly! This was my first PC build but was very easy with this motherboard. Paired this up with and Intel I5-9600K for smooth gaming and other hobbies. Loving it!

Their are better Z390 motherboards with more features and better VRM setups, but at $140 this particular mobo is great. If you don't need onboard Bluetooth or WiFi and you don't have a OC'd 9900K, this board is just fine. It doesn't have a fancy aesthetic and it's VRM likely cannot keep an OC'd 9900K at an acceptable temp due to its lacking VRM configuration. I'd recommend this chipset for i5 9600K or 9700K with an aggressive cooling setup. I was able to OC my 9700K to 5.1 across all cores and it never exceeds 60C under the heaviest loads with a Corsair H100 240mm AiO. Overall, this motherboard is a great sub $150 option. Look elsewhere if planning to run 9900K over clocked.

No crashes overclocking to 5ghz. Temps on overclocks are a little high but that's to be expected from a budget gaming motherboard. Love the reinforced PCI-e for the GPU. No sag. Still use a thumb screw to hold it in place. Leds are a nice little touch.

The motherboard is a ok board. Overclocks ok and has some ok features. Don`t expect to run a 9900K. This board doesn`t support it. Only supports 9900KF. Has the same specs as the 9900k, but don`t support integrated graphics

Great board with lots of room for OCing. It runs my 9700k at 4.7GHz with auto OC at a stable <60C. Can't fault it yet, but if it's like my old MSI board, it'll be great for the next 5 years.

I upgraded from an MSI z270 board that was twice the price of this one that had extra options, but I never used them so it was a waste of money back then. I was able to use my hard drive without changing anything and it booted right up. I did have to buy a new Win 10 key because Windows keys are assigned to the motherboard. You can use it without getting a new key but you get a message ever so often saying it's not a valid copy. It costs 5 bucks from the CD key sites. I bought this board because at the time my store was out of stock on the 300 dollar board I wanted. I took a chance as there's a 14 day return no questions asked and saved a bunch of money. It works great and overclocks like a more expensive board.

I just bought this recently as you can probably tell, I have this with a Intel 9600, as well as a RX 580 8 gig graphics card there was only two slots, prior to find the RX I had to G-Force 580s in an SLI configuration. It supports both SLI and crossfire It's an ATX board, and it has m2 support as well as VR capable. However I despise the IO board, that little piece that goes on to the back of your case. I don't know if I just got a bad one but this one's kind of warped, so installing it into the case was a two-person job, and it still doesn't look like it's set properly. It isn't leveled, but it's a good motherboard works well with gaming products

When my sister graduated from college, what she wanted for her gift was not a better computer, but select computer parts she could compile together to make the gaming desktop of her dreams. This is the motherboard she set her heart on, and while it isn't exactly what I would have purchased for myself, she certainly seems to enjoy it. The games she plays most are Skyrim and Overwatch, and this, in combination with her chosen processor and RAM, can handle them just fine. She has yet to complain, so as far as I'm aware, this mobo is a great choice for anyone else looking to build a gaming PC for cheap!

Installed this motherboard yesterday. It gets past the BIOS much faster than the ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E motherboard that failed on me TWICE. Not as many OC options as the ASUS, and no native Bluetooth or wifi...but a lot cheaper than the ASUS
However, the ethernet port was DOA...doesn't light up at all after trying multiple cables. Windows says the adapter is working, but I get no lights . Luckily I just bought a pcie ethernet adapter, because that was broken on the ASUS as well.
My rating is based on the nightmare that I had to deal with when I tried to deal with the ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E twice.

Great value for this board. I got it on sale, even if I didn't, the retail price is a great deal. I don't like too much rgb lighting on computers. This board has some lights halfway along one side of the board which I actually do like. It's not too much. A computer isn't a piece of art and isn't for looking at.. It's for work and functionality in my opinion but the design looks great in person if you're wondering. There is a big instruction booklet included that can help you with almost any question you have regarding installing this board or editing settings once installed.

Like most I have been stuck at home during the covid 19 lockdown. Looking for something to do I decided to see what I could put together for a decent price that I could dedicate for working on my 3D printing and modeling design projects in Fusion360 . I chose the i5 processor and MSI motherboard as I felt it would meet the demands of the tools required for this work. So far I am very pleased that it has lived up to the tasks intended. I assembled it on a simple vertical open framework and gives it a very Maker like appeal as well.
