the realtek ethernet adapter fails to work at all, which doesn't surprise me. if you're buying this motherboard, buy an intel pci-e ethernet adapter to go with it. the thing saving this motherboard is the built in IO shield, and my lack of issues not related to the ethernet adapter.

It was good choice on my part but lately I've been updating my pc getting a new case and more i got this as a birthday gift and now like a month and few days it stopped working and all i was doing was putting in the case and then when i turned it on it said something was worng with the cpu an i just got it to I-91000k and i checked the cpu nothing look wrong with it then i checked the cou socket and i noticed some of the pins on it were missing and Im very annoyed with this product but ik the brand well I guess it was just veryy bead luck and i can't get another one because were very financially bottlenecked and their is no warranty when i asked for one but i hope thia doesn't happen to others

Unfortunately my Ethernet port came dead on arrival and now after 5 months of use for some reason the WiFi is starting to disconnect pretty frequently. Other than that it’s good but just disappointing.

In wanted to like this mobo but every time I try any board other then Asus I have problems. Just had to return a z490i after after dealing with this

I have installed many motherboards in my time. The z490 edge WiFi I must say is on of the worst. I decided to save a few bucks getting this board. For a board above 200 it should come with amplified audio and is subpar at that. When first installing the the system crashed. Several attempts to get back into the bios before it would run again. I upgraded another m2 when installed the system crashed again. I am going to purchase another motherboard to replace.

I set it up after getting it in, and it wouldn't boot with one stick of ram I had on my old motherboard, and one of my video cards. Figured the video card was an age thing, as it's almost 7 years old. Tried to get everything setup, powered on, updated, etc. Restated, and it was showing CPU debug light. Turned the power off, waited a few minutes, and now it's stuck in a power up loop if a CPU is installed. I will be returning it to a local store and I'll update the review if I can after I get the replacement.

A little tricky to install with all of the screws.

Looks good. Was dead on arrival though. Wouldnt post. No led troubleshooting lights.

i was missing screws in my box. it made putting my pc together a lot harder. i do not recommend anyone to get this motherboard

Doa. Did not turn on or work at all. Returned it and got something different. I would rate it higher if it worked.

Do not buy! Only had for a few months and the Ethernet port went out/won’t function at all!

So, Just upgrading the CPU and Motherboard here and I got the CPU Debug, Returned the CPU and received another New one and still the same exact issue. Guess I am going to be traveling 45 miles to my best buy store to exchange it I guess I should have just stuck with asus but too expensive now

Main reason for choosing this MOBO was the WIFI ability. It randomly drops connection, and it seems to only happen while in a game. Do yourself a favor and get the non WIFI version of this board and just get a separate network card.

Dead within 2 months. I have built many computers over the years and MSI has consistently been the worst.

Motherboard didn’t work . I had to take it back to store and let them install a brand new one.

Last 6 months only, I’m trying to get a refund from the company but no answer

i never knew that the board could affect my wifi, but my speeds are super fast now!! and the included LED with JRAINBOW pins allow my case to have an awesome RGB set up and set the theme of my PC! it has a nice BIOS too that makes OC'ing and changing settings a breeze, and i'd recommend!!
