Nothing but issues with this motherboard. Neither Best Buy or the manufacturer were really any help and would not refund.

I was really stoked to get this motherboard. MSI has a great reputation and I thought it would be a good purchase. Boy was I wrong. It was an absolute headache to try and set up. The BIOS is poorly laid out and it is difficult to figure out. For whatever reason, MSI decided to blend "Optane Optimization" with the RAID settings. So when you are looking for your RAID settings, you can't find them! The most recent BIOS update corrected this issue. It now says "RAID/Optane Optimization" in the BIOS. But it still is poorly laid out and a pain to navigate. Maybe I am spoiled with ASUS BIOS's over the years. But I did not enjoy that experience. The worst part was, even though the BIOS detected all of my HDD's and SSD's, the Windows installer wouldn't find ANY of them. I tried everything. Drivers, RAID, non-RAID, repartitioning, the Secure+ feature thing in the BIOS (which doesn't do anything from my experience), etc. It really was a shame. I never had such a horrible experience with a motherboard than this one. It was returned the next day. I got the ASUS Z590-E Strix motherboard. I am currently rebuilding the machine. Waste of time and money. MSI, not cool man... not cool. Takes some notes from ASUS. They make it EASY.

This product has been terrible, I’m on my second MOBO and have had nothing but issues. First one was a dud second one had a consistent DRAM issues and now the Ethernet port went out. 0 help just ordered the asus rog strix to get rid of this crap.

This motherboard is a replacement for another one that got fried. This motherboard is awesome its got cool rgb, bios is easy to use and I could customize things that I could never do on my old one. Overall I would always use MSI products since MSI is always my preferred brand.

Very good - a quick note about the CPU debug light

Overall this is a great board. There is one thing you should be aware of that might help you.
I installed two sticks of DDR4 RAM and one of them was defective. The debug light for the CPU was lit red as I tried to boot unsuccessfully. This was rather confusing to me and I spent several hours reseating the processor. When I finally figured out one of the RAM sticks was bad the board booted up fine. So if you do get a red light for the CPU, check your RAM sticks first.
I like the game boost function. It automatically overclocked my i7 11700k to 5.1 Ghz on a liquid cooler. My entire system is running very smoothly, scoring 94% on UserBenchark.
One other thing I like is the RGB software in the MSI Center. The modes are a lot better than ASUS boards. I've built probably 15 computers in my life and I generally used ASUS or Asrock, but I'm quite impressed by this MSI board. I'll definitely use MSI again if it proves to be reliable.
