Sweet motherboard looks great with RGB on it might get another one that supports ddr 5 ram

honestly, this motherboard is probably overpriced for what it is, but aesthetically it's incredibly pleasing and has plenty of overclocking headroom. BIOS flashback so you can use 13th gen processors on it without having to have a 12th gen CPU first or borrow one. I would not normally spend close to $300 on a DDR4 motherboard or any motherboard for that matter, but it just looks too good. IMO.

Install was easy with exception to having to manually download all drivers and utilities due to the supplied USB stick being corrupted. It would have been nice to get it going on the new build without needing to go to another PC to download before installing OS. The PC boots great now that the install is complete with exception to speakers sounding off about 5 times while the system boots. Annoying and never had that happen before with any other MSI boards (have 2 others) and they are simply great. Would have given more stars but with the above issues, not as good as expected.

1 out of 10. Only getting that because it can’t be rated at 0. This is the 2nd time I have been burned by a MSI product and I live 1 and a half hour away from my closest Best Buy, so I can’t just drive on over and pick one up. Came with one of the M.2 standoffs missing and for a board that is in the upper 200 dollar category (literally right under 300 actually) it leaves a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

Pros: The RGB Dragon is very cool, was impressed when I turned my PC on. - Clean BIOS with lots of options and easy to OC. You can enable XMP with a single click. - USB with all drivers and common utilities for quick setup. - Angled Sata ports, easier to hide cables. - Good I/O and I like fixed antennas for Wifi. - Good Audio, pretty clean sound for studio use. Not really any cons. Love this motherboard and it does everything I need while looking awesome!

Nice motherboard with just enough features for most. It doesnt have a million USB ports, but it definitely has enough for most people. Has Wifi built in, and a decent BIOS screen with some pre-build overclock features. They even include a USB stick with a BIOS in case you really brick it haha.

Offers plenty of expandability for PCI-E cards, M.2 storage and includes Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. I/O is good as well with plenty of USB ports for all your peripheral needs. Only knock against it is the MSI software that controls the lighting and driver updates. I would advise against using it. Just download the drivers manually. Wish the RGB lighting worked better with other RGB software like iCue. For now I just leave it off.

Overall, this motherboard is serving me very well, and it was not an extremely terrible price for what it is and the features that you get. The latest Wi-Fi 6 and a frankly amazing I/O are worth the price in this case, but the one issue I had is that the USB drive which is intended to come with drivers, was corrupted. I have noticed throughout other reviews that this is somewhat common, so I would only caution others to make sure to make their own USB drive with at least an internet driver before changing out motherboards.

Amazing board. It looks great, Great premium design and features that are unrivaled at this price range. Enough RGB lighting to make it stand out. I love that i can use my same ddr4 ram and the next gen features like pcie 5.0 is a definite upgrade i am looking forward to. MSI you really nailed it with this one

For what it does, the board does it well. A solid platform that takes a fair amount of abuse. 2 of the m.2 screw pegs for the covers were broken off making them sag slightly. This could affect cooling and definitely looks. Also, for a new builder like me, the intructions were vauge and brief. You could definetly save an easy $100 on a different board that does the exact same thing

Very good motherboard for 12th or 13th gen. Works well with my i9-12900k. Great if you already have DDR4 ram and don't want to spend money on DDR5 ram. Bios has a lot of features including overclocking. Very stable board.

This motherboard has blown me away. In the past, I have had a lot of experience with asus rog strix motherboards, and let’s just say none of them compare! Obviously, they functionally worked amazing and were aesthetically pleasing, but they cost you an arm and a leg. This board is simply a steal for the price, having the looks of a very expensive motherboard at a very reasonable price. The bios, in my opinion, seems to be more refined than the asus too. I have not tested overclocking with it yet, but it definitely has the heat syncs to handle it. It even comes with handy tools and a bios flash drive, which can come in handy. 10/10 would recommend for any 12th gen intel processor!

I love this motherboard. Looks really good with my PC build and went flawlessly. I means it’s MSI and it’s good quality. If any issues use PCPartPicker and figure out which parts work with this motherboard and go with it

This motherboard is absolutely every bit of bang for your buck. Stunning LEDs, RGB easy install all the accessories that you could ever want or able to be put into this.

Solid motherboard - was rock solid with the 12900k and allowed for really fast file transfers.

Motherboard works great, has pretty much all the bells and whistles, very good for aio pumps and rgb, and a very high wattage board

Very good motherboard so far. Quality materials and very stable with my i7 13700k. Wifi is fast and great for gaming with low latency
