    Nice amount of ports, rgb and fan headers. My one complaint is I could not get 4 8GB dimms of corsair vengance c18 4000mhz to run at their max speed. With 2 slots filled the mobo can reach the advertised 4000mhz, however with 4 slots filled the computer would fail to boot and could only reach 3600mhz. This is not isolated to my board. It would probably work with some tweaking in the bios, but you really need to know what you're doing. Be cautioned. Also no luck overclocking a 12700k, but that could come down to the chip. If you plan on overclocking I'd go for a better motherboard.

    This motherboard is great for the new 12th gen intel processors. It has plenty of headers for your fans, cpu, and others. The heatsinks are great for the M.2s. The rgb on the motherboard looks pretty good too. I used this motherboard for my first pc build, and it went very smooth. I do recommend anyone deciding to build with this motherboard.

    Works exactly as expected. Great for someone who wants 13th gen power but doesn’t want to upgrade to ddr5. You need to flash bios because it’s a 12th gen board.

    I was actually sad that I had to return this motherboard because its so nice but sadly I decided on going with a white build so I traded it for the Asus strix-a but all the features and accessories this board brings for the price are phenomenal. the rgb also isnt super annoying which I really liked

    With the current price of DDR5 , I am happy they made a z690 12th gen motherboard with DDR4! This motherboard is beautiful! The RGB dragon is one of the biggest reasons I got it lol , But it has alot of features on it aswell! MSI is known for making quality motherboards !
