This is my first MSI board. I usually by Asus. Overall everything works and its a nice design. The bios is really difficult to navigate and figure out where settings all. There is no automatic overclocking line on Asus boards so I had to do some research on what changes to make. Confusingly the built in audio is a USB device. What RGB there was is easy to turn off. High marks for supporting DDR4 - most 12th gen boards are only support DDR5 (12th gen can support either). Since I game at 1440p I didn't need the extra cost of DDR5.

Great board zero problems. It worked right out of the box. The BIOS has lots of over clocking settings.

I spent $260 on this motherboard which is about $100 more than id ever spent before. Normally i just go for the cheapest motherboard i can find but i decided to try a better quality board this time. Im very pleased with the overall quality and had zero issues with the build. It came with a usb stick with updated bios and built in wifi. Everything is running great. Im very much an msi fan now!

Runs windows 12 no problem with new i9 processor and Rtx 3080ti built in Wi-Fi is also great

A lot of functions and looks great. The BIOS is very easy to modify.

Bios would not flash to the newer version and work with the newer CPU and never booted. Boxing was nice, though, and liked the aesethic of the board if it worked.

The only thing that prevents it from being 5 is how bulky it is. I could barely fit anything in it and I have a huge case

Easy install, I consider myself a pretty experienced computer builder, it went as planned and was really easy to update the bios. A bios update is recommended if not necessary but not difficult. Make sure you have the Bios downloaded onto your USB stick prior to install. Very fast and great option for breaking into the Socket LGA1700 gaming platform!

Good motherboard. Same install as any other motherboard.

Running extremely well with the fastest spec hardware (CPU and memory both at the upper end of recommended speed). All features of the motherboard seem to run well, the utility to update and operate features seems lots more solid and stable than the ASUS I used previously.

There weren't too many black motherboards to go in my build that I liked much as they lacked features I wanted and they weren't as sleek. So, I bought this and I am glad I did. It has plenty of rear USB ports, it has a port for cases that have a front USB-C connector, and it has 4 lightning gen 4 M.2 slots.
