I ended up returning mine after I would periodically get random flashing 1s white box artifacts on my screen. Various sizes, different times, they honored my RMA but I ended up returning, wont buy MSI again.

I've downgraded from a 4k 144hz non oled to this and i'd call it an insane upgrade! My first OLED experience and i've heard from others once you go OLED you can't go back... THAT'S TRUE!
I did a ton of research on what product would fit my needs monitor wise and i came to the conclusion of getting the msi compared to others due to the price and quality of the reviews i've seen online. It's an insane purchase at the lowest price of all of the monitors.
It's insanely fast at 360 hz while being 2k and having some of the best colors i've ever seen!
I haven't really found anything to complain about yet, i've already updated the firmware to the lastest and it was very easy. Big fan so far!

Perfect Esports Monitor

My favorite part about the monitor is the clarity brought by the unparalleled response time and refresh rate.
I chose this one as it was cheaper than the competition.
It is perfect for all of your esports needs no matter the game.
Pros: Refresh rate, response time, color accuracy, nice looking design, HDR availability, 3 year burn in warranty
Cons: Text clarity due to OLED pixel layout, some say there is eye strain, pixel shift can be disorienting, low stock availability

Just got my first OLED yesterday. So far so good. Only negative I have is that it's less bright than I was expecting in a dark environment. Inky blacks, responsiveness, and colors are fantastic. It was packaged well. No scratches on the screen.display is gorgeous. Coming from the LG 27GL83A-B it's a massive upgrade. 360hz feels buttery smooth, colors and contrast are miles better. Haven't noticed much of an improvement in ghosting (old display was pretty decent), but I don't play a ton of FPS games. Noticed it a bit in Rocket League. Packaging was robust. No scratches or marks on the screen. Plastic peel-able protector, anti-static bag, molded . buy this monitor now or else u will regret it later its a end.

A Game-Changer in Visuals and Speed

As my first OLED monitor, the visual experience is simply breathtaking. The depth of blacks, richness of colors, and astonishing contrast are truly remarkable, especially when compared to other display technologies. Additionally, it's my first time experiencing a refresh rate above 144Hz, and with 360Hz, every movement on the screen is silky-smooth. Coupled with the OLED panel, it creates a flawless experience, with input lag reduced to virtually nothing. While some may raise concerns about text readability due to OLED panel technology, personally, I've encountered no issues in this regard.
Moreover, I find this monitor to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing on the market. Its sleek design seamlessly integrates into my setup without resorting to overly "gamer" aesthetics forced by some other manufacturers. MSI's minimalist approach is refreshing and adds to the monitor's appeal in my opinion.
Overall, owning this monitor has been an absolute pleasure. In competitive shooters like Valorant, CS:GO, and others, having a monitor of this caliber is a game-changer. Its OLED panel delivers stunning visuals, not only for gaming but also for casual entertainment and media consumption. While I haven't had the chance to watch movies on it yet, I can only imagine how incredible they'll look. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their monitor setup.

Shoutout to Monitors Unboxed's review and TFCentral's suggested settings.
To anyone looking for a difference between this monitor (MPG 271QRX) and the MAG 271QPX model: Between the two, the MAG is $50 cheaper but you lose firmware updates for bug fixes, KVM, RGB, and Power Delivery. Just losing the ability to do firmware updates to fix bugs for 6% off isn't worth it.
My first 26.5" QD-OLED monitor. Insanely deep blacks, vibrant colors, 1440p, 360hz, actually GOOD HDR at 1000 nits, KVM, 90W USB-C PD for charging, multiple ports, HDMI 2.1 which Dell's QD-OLED AW2725DF does NOT have, headphone jack, and it has RGB of course.
On top of being a phenomenal monitor that continues to exceed my expectations for video games and content consumption so far, this thing comes packed with plenty of MSI's intuitive and customizable OLED care features. If that wasn't enough, MSI offers a mindblowing free 3-YEAR BURN-IN WARRANTY for all their OLED panels. This was a safeguard that greatly stood out and instantly sold me on MSI as burn-in was a great concern of mine when I began researching which OLED panel to buy.
Personally, when it comes to text clarity and fringing, compared to my 27" 1440p IPS monitor, it's not that bad of an issue from my normal viewing angle, or when leaning back, at worst you'll notice it looks a bit chromatic when leaning-in close.
Would easily recommend this to anyone looking for an endgame-tier monitor.

The monitor is amazing. OLED is in another league. The display has stunning visuals and smooth movement. Whether gaming or working, the colors are vibrant and the contrast is impressive. The screen is glossy and is comfortable to look at. The refresh rate is truly something else pairs with almost no response time. Oh, there's also no fan. It's quiet unlike the Alienware. The price to performance is unmatched compared to other OLEDs. Just when you think that's it, there's also KVM and 90 watt power delivery. Buy this if you find it in stock because wow it is truly something else.

This monitor really is something else. I'm upgrading from a pretty budget Dell gaming monitor, same 27" size, but every other spec is a huge upgrade. The colors are vibrant, it responds insanely fast, and the framerate and clarity of motion is completely unmatched on the market currently. Coming from a 1080p monitor, the pixel density has far surpassed my previous experience. Additionally, the monitor has a lot of tools to help you get a long life out of it as well that prevent burn-in. The monitor is fantastic for the form factor. I won’t say that it’s perfect. I’m still getting used to the glossy finish of the screen. It sometimes takes a few seconds to alt-tab out of a game. Still, the monitor is the best thing I’ve laid my eyes on and it’s been an absolute pleasure to use. I highly recommend it!

First off, let me just say, the QD OLED display on this bad boy is an absolute game-changer. The colors are so vibrant and rich, it's like my screen came to life. Watching movies or gaming feels like a whole new experience, and the deep blacks just add another level of immersion. The refresh rate is buttery smooth, and the response time is lightning-fast, making it perfect for gaming. Plus, the build quality is top-notch, which is always a plus. It absolutely fulfills my needs and then some. Overall, if you're looking for a monitor that's a cut above the rest in terms of display quality and performance, this baby is definitely worth the investment.

My first OLED, and the difference is crazy! The Colors so vibrant, especially with the glossy coating, and the contrast is incredible. The low response time of OLED on top of it being 360hz gives the best visual/motion clarity I’ve seen on a monitor and makes it perfect for FPS games. Makes every game you play beautiful. I've played CS2, Valorant, Elden Ring, Remnant 2. Very satisfied with this monitor so far. I've had no issues with ambient lighting, although the lighting in my office comes from behind the monitor. My only complaint is that only and HDMI cable is provided and not a DP cable. Hands down, the best monitor I’ve purchased.

This was my first oled gaming monitor and i love it the colors is amazing, high refresh rate and it just looks amazing. At first i was going for the AW2725DF but when i saw this was 100 cheaper i got the MSI monitor instead. I like the .03 ms response time for gaming and when watching movies and shows its unreal one flaw was the install but wasnt that hard just a little frustrating. I also love the size and the blacks actally look black and not the grey ish like other monitors. Overall this is a great monitor and i highy recommend it.

The MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED gaming monitor is awesome. The 360hz refresh rate feels incredible even when just moving your mouse pointer around, in games it is next level. The deep blacks and incredible contrast make it perfect for enjoying content and HDR. The packing and unboxing experience was good, and the included HDMI cable works well to deliver the full experience. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who is looking for the best of the best in 2024 that will be hard to beat for the money. This is the biggest leap in gaming displays for the price in a long time.

This being my first QD-OLED I was baffled by how stark the difference in image quality is between this and a regular IPS panel.
Blacks show up as dark, rich, and prominent. Even in a higher light environment during the daytime it performs quite well.
Reflections are minimal and the 27in size is perfect for fps as well as being immersive enough for AAA single player games.
All in all this monitor exceeded my expectations, and with the competitive price point it comes at, I would highly recommend this for those seeking a premium visual experience.

Combining the best parts of 360Hz IPSes with OLED
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I have been a previous owner of both an LG CX 55" OLED, and an LG C2 42" OLED, as well as an IPS 1440p 360Hz monitor. With the LGs being only 120Hz, games felt very *smooth*, but the motion clarity left a lot to be desired. Meanwhile, the IPS achieved the motion clarity I was hoping for, but the colors and black levels were just not there.
This monitor combines the best parts of all of these. I am *so* happy to be able to finally play games at 360Hz and in HDR, and in a dark room this panel is absolutely gorgeous.
Note that there are some inevitable quirks. Display Stream Compression (DSC) does limit the possible refresh rates and resolutions, as well as causing the monitor to go black for quite a few seconds at a time when waking or swapping resolutions. Certain Nvidia features like DLDSR are unavailable due to DSC as well. There is very light text fringing due to the QD-OLED subpixel structure, but I don't find it a deal-breaker. Also, the QD-OLED panel does not handle ambient light well at all; in well-lit rooms blacks truly are raised to be essentially the same as an IPS panel, with a purplish hue. However, I am used to dealing with raised blacks from IPSes, and even on the LGs where this isn't an issue, in a well-lit room you'll inevitably have reflections that affect the picture quality anyway. So if you're starting up a game or movie in HDR, just turn off the lights. For normal SDR content you can leave the lights on and still have a very clearly vibrant image.
Overall, I so far am very pleased with this monitor. I don't think it's necessarily "end-game", but it is a very nice one to have, and something I've been looking forward to for a long while.

Best Monitor Purchase

After debating about it for a long time, I finally decided to pull the trigger on Black Friday and upgrade my old 240Hz IPS monitor to this 360Hz OLED.
I was obviously expecting an improvement, but was still blown away. Seeing the two monitors next to each other it's night and day. I can really see how grey the blacks were on my old monitor sitting next to the 271QRX. And the motion clarity for FPS gaming is crazy.
It also seems to have the best build quality of all the 1440p 360Hz OLEDs I considered purchasing.
The KVM switch is also huge for work and I don't have to constantly replug in my mouse to a different computer.
Money well spent easily.
