Amazing Picture, Ruined by a Fatal Flaw
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR! The image quality on the MSI MPG321URX is stunning—hands down the best I’ve ever seen. But it’s all wasted on a monitor that forces itself to go dark mid-use, with no real way to stop it. Here’s the problem: MSI’s “screen protection” feature dims the entire display for nearly 15 minutes. You’ll get a prompt every 4 hours asking if you want to run it—you can postpone it up to three times. But after 16 hours, it gives you a 1-minute warning and forces a 15-minute blackout, even if you're in the middle of a match, editing, or watching something. You can switch to a 16-hour mode to reduce pop-ups—but that one skips the postpones entirely. Just the one-minute warning, then you’re dark. MSI claims to have patched this with a firmware update. But check the forums—there are just as many people saying the update bricked their monitor as there are saying it worked. It’s mind-blowing. Why would you design a high-end gaming monitor that randomly shuts itself off for 15 minutes and give users zero reliable control over it? Amazing hardware, sabotaged by idiotic software. Avoid it. There's plenty of great monitors out there, especially for the price.

Goes back to 120hz and Screen protect interrupts
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great images but Im finding it will jump back to 120hz and the qay to fix it is to go into the menu and reset freesync. I cant find a solution online for this. Panel protect doesn't run automaticall when pc is powered down so you either have to manually run it or wait for notification to run it. The notification... Does not go away and is mid screen. If you are in a competetive match, you are hopelessly screwed because it blocks most the screen and if you run it, the process is 4-5 minutes.

Best value 4k 240hz QD-OLED
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best value of the new 4k 240hz oled monitors. The MSI has most of the same features as the Asus except for a few that I wouldnt say are deal breakers while being over $300 less expensive.

OLED Care is PATHETIC. DO NOT BUY!!!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this monitor for 11 months. The screen produces crisp images and text, however the OLEAD Care comes on every 4 hours even though I set it to go on every 16 hours. It takes 7-8 minutes of a blank screen to carry out the process. This is very AGGRAVATING and interruptive to my work. To top it off I have a MAC desktop and MSI only provides firmware updates for PCs. They just did an update delaying the OLEAD Care to 24 hours which would be much better, but I can't get that. I bought this monitor because it was "upgradeable" and I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it wasn't upgradeable for MACs. I am VERY disappointed with MSI and would not recommend this monitor to anyone with a MAC.

Great value, beautiful picture quality!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor was a huge upgrade coming from the Dell S3220DGF. The blacks are perfectly inky black and there is no light bleed. The 240hz refresh rate eliminates virtually any motion blur and makes it possible to play FPS games at a high level. The 90w USB-C was a nice touch to be able to have connectivity and power over one cable to keep my desk setup nice and tidy. The osd controls were a little difficult to reach for long periods of time but I don't anticipate I will be needing change settings that often since they have great software called "gaming intelligence" that can do everything the on screen osd can do. I can run Helldivers 2 on 4k over 200 FPS with the 7900XT and the HDR is beautiful. The advantage this monitor has over other brands is definitely the price. With the same panel, its a no brainer at the price.

Not Impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A thousand bucks for a monitor that frequently refuses to wake up from sleep mode, even after firmware and driver updates.

This monitor is the future
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor feels like a glimpse into the future - it has everything I was looking for. The 4K image is razor sharp, motion is incredibly smooth at 240Hz, input lag is very low, and colors look fantastic.I hesitated about OLED because of burn-in concerns, but MSI’s built-in OLED care features gave me confidence. What stands out most is that there are no real weak points - everything is good or very good.

end game monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is second-to-none Screen is spotless out of the box thanks to the thin plastic film they ship it covered with Stand is sturdy and easy to adjust Passively cooled so there is no fan to worry about sRGB mode works perfectly, allowing SDR content to be viewed accurately MSRP in the US is $250 less than the Alienware and $350 less than the ASUS, plus you can get a free $100 Steam gift card from MSI if you buy one before March 31st Overall, as pricing stands today, I think this monitor is the best value of the three currently available in the US. Lack of Dolby Vision aside it offers many more features than the Alienware and most of the features of the ASUS while costing hundreds of dollars less. It's not perfect but I don't think the issues it has are annoying enough to justify spending more on anything else. In countries where the ASUS is barely more expensive I think it probably is the better choice but in the US the price difference is simply too large.
