This GPU has been great, what I didn’t like is I bought it thinking frame gen would improve with updates but they reserve that for the new cards only. Immediate planned obsolescence isnt great for me

Very light and compact. Installation was a breeze. It does come with a 2 prong power adapter (2x PCIe to 16 pin) for use.
Absolutely banger of a card. No coil whine and pretty quiet under load since it is a three fan model.
Unfortunately it was a bit underpowered for my needs (4k gaming), so I was fortunate enough to snag a 5080 FE on launch day so I returned this one but again, for 1440p it will be a monster.
If you look at any price:performance charts (aka cost per frame), you will see the 4070 Super in the top 5 of just about every chart.
This was paired with an SP109 14900KS running at 59/45/50, TG 8200 tuned DDR5 2x24GB and Alienware 32" OLED 240hz.

Very powerful; runs current games on Ultra/High with no issue. It's very quiet and cool and it's extremely lightweight compared to the 3070 Ti that I replaced it with (which actually came with a metal bracket for extra support). From what I've read on benchmarks, this is nearly a 50% improvement over my old card and the price was great considering the prices we've been dealing with the last few years on GPUs. I'm definitely glad I got this.

MSI RTX 4070 Super Ventus 3X OC

The card arrived quickly and works flawlessly. The MSI RTX 4070 Super Ventus 3X OC is a huge upgrade from the old GTX 1080 that I've had since 2018. This card idles at 40c and maintains 62c at 99% load during gaming. In Starfield it maintains over 100 FPS on Ultra (paired with I7 14700k). Also, I have not overclocked any of my hardware as I have not needed to.

Fantastic Performance and Value

The MSI RTX 4070 SUPER Ventus 3X OC absolutely exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, the build quality is solid and sleek with the triple-fan design keeping things cool and quiet—even under load. It runs modern AAA titles at ultra settings without breaking a sweat, and paired with DLSS 3 and frame generation, it’s perfect for high refresh rate gaming or streaming.
What really impressed me is how efficient it is. The 4070 SUPER gives performance close to the 4080 in many titles, but at a significantly lower price and power draw. Temps stay in check (rarely above 65°C in my setup), and the fans barely get loud.
Installation was a breeze thanks to its PCIe 4.0 support, and it fits well in my mid-tower case despite the triple fan. I also appreciate the factory overclock for that little extra boost.
Whether you're gaming, editing, or streaming, this GPU is a monster for 1440p and can even handle 4K surprisingly well. MSI did a great job with this card—reliable, fast, and future-proof.
Highly recommended!

The GPU is a way better value than its regular counterpart. It holds a consistent 144fps when i run Helldivers 2 and Death Stranding in its max settings(although i do have heavy fan usage to make sure it all stays cool in its case). Its silent and has not RGB which i liked since i made a black out model with no lights for my custom build. I think its probably the best of the refresh super series that came out this past quarter. Would recommend buying a little stand for it as its still fairly large so as to avoid it slacking on one side.

I had finally pulled the trigger and ended up upgrading my pc after being on a 1660 ti for 4/5 years now. Yesterday my item arrived and it looks incredibly clean, I’ve always been a fan of the Ventus models specifically and this one did not disappoint! Performance was as a expected too, most games on 1440p High/Ultra settings with RT pulled in a respectable 90-100+ fps depending on the title.

This thing shreds. Temps are a tad high when you start getting up into this performance range but im running games at 4k Ultra with ray tracing on and no problems or crashing. MSI afterburner is not the best however and the automatic overclock option wont scan. Dont forget that this requires x2 pcie (2x8) cables.

HAPPY WITH UPGRADE FROM 3070

Great card - upgraded from a 3070 OC (not TI) and it was definitely worth it! I get 60-70fps On Helldivers 2 on 4k ULTRA setings ; 120fps @ 1400p ; around 100fps in 4k on Doom Eternal. Crushes everyhing so far on my i5-12400f build. Recouping $300 from selling my old card made this upgrade a no-brainer! If your build budget is around $600 for a card - this is the one to get IMHO, but if you are wanting to upgrade from a mid-card, this is also a decent deal ; AMD options might beat this out on value, but if you want the extra speed I think this is a very solid choice.

My 3070 died before a game night and I had to swoop in for a new card. Bought this one as it is a bit above the base without being absurdly priced. It is a bit slimmer than my old card and significantly more powerful at 3440x1440. It looks good without being absurdly gamer and rainbow puke to boot. Worth it if you going for 1440p or even some 4k gaming. Fits in my itx case without a problem. Power in a small package.

Great sub 1K card

The 4070 Super is a decent, sub 1K card. While she doesn't have the memory bus of her elder, 4070 Ti Super, there's enough with the 12GB of 6X to handle just about anything thrown at it.
AV1 encoding works flawlessly as well. The only issue that kept it from getting 5 stars is the power connector design. While other cards have 8x1, 8x2 and even 8x3 power connections... the new 12-pin has it's own unique cable that needs two PCI-E connections to your power supply.
The 4070 Super runs like a champ, and literally for those not looking to spend that thousand dollars on a Ti, Ti Super or the 4080 and higher, this is your card.

For the money this card is awesome. It runs runs Fallout 76 at 4k on Epic settings 60fps solid without a hiccup. Stalker 2 runs at 1440p in Epic settings at around 100fps with DLSS 3 turned on.

Upgraded from a 1660ti and my fps tripled. Great card, will run any game at max settings. Only downside is it has some coil whine which can get a bit annoying but if you have headphones on you wont notice it.

The price was right on this. I wanted to give the wife a better GPU since she plays games all the time. I'm envious and will need another. This is slightly faster than my 3090s.
This is the sweet spot on 40-series price/performance.

My only complaint is not waiting until the TI version was available. It works great. Quiet even under load and it fits PERFECTLY into my fractal design Terra SFF build. It's hard to find dual slot cards for small builds, but this card squeaks in and fits like a glove.
