Customers are saying

Customers commend the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16GB VENTUS 3X OC for its exceptional performance, effective cooling system, and generally quiet operation during use. Many appreciate the ease of installation and the significant improvement in frame rates and visual quality, particularly with ray tracing and DLSS features. However, some users note the card's large size may present compatibility issues with smaller computer cases, and the cost may be a factor for some consumers. While power consumption is a concern for a few, many find it acceptable.

Beast of a card, very quiet runs a maximum of 70 celcius under load. No coil whine. Upgraded from a 3080 10gb and it is a huge upgrade. Definitely recommend this card if your budget allows it.

No firmware problem like the 70 ti super, which is working perfectly. The card is really big, so make sure your case is big enough before getting one.

Works very well, has no issues running anything that you can throw at it, even with games at max settings and ray tracing on. It’s also quiet I’ve had no issues with noise coming from it. You may want to check the size constraints of the case as it is a huge card.

I was told that this card would "run hot" well i just paid $1090.00 USD for it and im here to tell you that it doesn't. Yes my PC puts out minimal heat. I have the normal 7 fan configuration with an aio on my 7600x cpu and it runs perfectly fine. All high end cards put out the same heat. This is a great OC card I love it.

This modelof 4080 super is solid. Temps dont get hotter than 70c under full load and been able to play all games 1440p max settings. Dlss and frame gen are cool features. Dlss looks great in some games like cyberpunk. Frame gen being more gimmicy but in full rasterization performance im super impressed coming from a 3070. Price tag is probably the only thing i would complain about even though its 200$ less than the original. But I knew that going with this card it would be worth it(at least for me) Glad i got this one in stock because it fits in my lian-li h2o a4. If you play fps games at high refresh rates 1440p, this card absolutely dominates. I reccomend this card for anyone who wants high level performance but doesnt want to fork out another grand right now for a 4090. Card is great. I have no regrets. Main games i play are cod, apex, helldivers 2, cyberpunk. Being able to max out the settings while keeping high refresh rates(frames) has been awesome. Wasn’t able to do that with most games on my 3070 due to vram limits. The msi model is one of the smaller built 4080s on the market if you need any smaller the asus pro art and msi slim are really the only options. Which is crazy because the msi 3x model is ginormous especially to other cards ive had in the past. Super happy with my purchase and dont plan on upgrading for years to come!

Great Performance - Solid Upgrade From 3080 10gb

I decided to purchase this card after having a ASUS TUF Gaming 3080 10gb card for the last 3.5 years. I found that over time the 3080’s performance was starting to decline and this seemed like a good value for the +/- 50% increase in fps. I can confidently say the performance is accurate, and the card runs cool and quiet. I was able to boost the graphics to ultra on the games I mainly play (Rust, The Finals, Cyberpunk) and my FPS has increased and lack of stuttering has decreased. Very happy with the GPU! Side Note: I did have to buy a new PSU with 3 PCIE cables, my old one only had 2. Went with a corsaire 1k Watt to future proof a bit.

Fantastic non-RGB 4080 Super: Fast, Cool, Quiet

This 4080 Super has exceeded my expectations: significantly faster than the 4070 TI super that I returned, runs cool under load, no coil whine, fairly quiet. I feel like I won the jackpot. In MSFS 2020 VR with a HP Reverb G2 headset and high settings (one of the most demanding set-ups you can have), I am getting smooth 50+ frame rates and temps that stay in the upper 60s. So, at least from my experience, fear not the MSI Ventus 3X 4080 Super card-- it's fantastic if you don't care about RGB. Just don't pay scalpers and grab at retail when it's available.

I am team Red and Green, everyone puts down the rivals. 1st figure a budget, then look at the games you play the most. During Pandemic I didnt want to pay an arm, leg and organs for a GPU. I got the reference 6950xt which is amazing.... The 4080s dropped and I got it for the same price as my 6960xt... $999. I play some more Green games than Red now adays, it is Night and Day difference, while the old Red games I play still has a few FPS upgrade. 5XXX is around the corner, so I would wait to purchase any GPU and IDC if you're running a voodoo 3dfx, just wait lol. I am running a 5950x, 64gdb DDR4 and 4tb of NVMe with a Corsair 1500w psu. I mine as much as I can and it stays at 320-330w and around 68-72 degrees (dam good) and that's with auto fan on which is not loud. Corsair 5000 case and over 15 fans. Cant wait to get a eiswolf2 plate and AIO, to help with temps a little but mainly space so I can dual gpu again. Took out my 3050 i used for stream handling. same set up the eiswolf2 cooled my 6950xt from 80-90 degrees to 55-60. works better than having a stream card and having to use a 2nd systems. Yes it will change 16x PCIE to Dual 8x but youll will loose only a couple FPS. But you can stream in 2k120fps or 4k at ease!!! Why NVidia to handle stream, because the codecs! AMD codecs at least on 6 series and below are pure booboo. I believe 7 series above 7600 uses same codecs as NVidia and Intel gpus. if you mine... 6950xt out the box 30-35mhs and 4080s 40+ Mhs. Both run about the same wattage wise, stock mining out the box.

All of my past GPUs were from Evga and I never owned an MSI. This was my first one. I upgraded from Evga 3080 FTW3 Ultra and I am quite happy. The performance is great and the uplift from the previous GPU is very noticeable, as long as you don't have a CPU bottleneck. The card stays cool while gaming and there doesn't seem to be any coil whine. This model does not have any RGB, and I really don't care about that anyway, it still looks good in my case. Although I am glad to see the $200 price drop from the regular 4080, I think this, and all other Nvidia GPUs are still overpriced. With that being said, I would still recommend it if you have the budget for it.
