Customers commend the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16GB VENTUS 3X OC for its exceptional performance, effective cooling system, and generally quiet operation during use. Many appreciate the ease of installation and the significant improvement in frame rates and visual quality, particularly with ray tracing and DLSS features. However, some users note the card's large size may present compatibility issues with smaller computer cases, and the cost may be a factor for some consumers. While power consumption is a concern for a few, many find it acceptable.

Hoping to "future proof" it for at least four years, this is a great GPU for fps and racing games but certainly the maximum I would have spent on graphics considering the price of the 4090. Although it is much more expensive than the 4070 series, I don't regret the purchase. For reference, I was able to run fortnite on 240 fps capped or 300 fps not capped on epic settings and 400+ fps on performance mode + low settings.

Previous card was a 1080 TI and this was a great improvement being my first card with ray tracing and DLSS.
Put this in a recent new build and am so glad I was able to get my hands on one of these cards. I honestly only got the MSI one cause the others were all out of stock but I am very happy with this card and have no regrets so far.
Temps seem good in my H9 flow case running case fans with an AIO, running all games on max settings; Battlefield 2042, Cyberpunk 2077, Palworld, Starfield; and the FPS is insane for me coming from the 1080 TI.

The reality of the market is everything is being overpriced, but the one thing I'll say about the 4080 is it backs up its price tag. People will anecdotally say the 7900xtx can match this gpu, but that's not the case at all. from reliability to actual frame generation they try and claim as wins. If youre on the fence between the two like I was, eat the extra money, its worth it, unfortunately.

This card was an upgrade from a 3090 at 3440x1440 in black ops 6 all settings maxed RTX on hitting 185 fps native. Then kick on dlss and frame gen and I now go up to around 220fps. The 3090 got me to around 145 before. Overclock I can get around+210 core +700 memory and gain around another 7 fps and stay under 62c while the card stays quiet. 50xx just announced thought and price will have to come down.

Had been running smoothly. I read up on warranties and MSI have the best product warranties by far.
I had a gigabyte 3060 and it crapped out within a year, sent it out n for warranty repairs and it was lost in the mail.
So I decided to go with a different brand with a better warranty policy. My brother has the 3060 prior to the super coming out and he recommended I try MSI. I trust his judgment because he has his bachelors in Computer Science so I went with this.
So far I’m getting better FPS and the temps stay level. You’ll want to check GeForce for updates because they usually have them monthly but especially with a fresh install you’ll want to make sure it’s up to date.
I do t feel a need to overclock however I read this one comes clocked and ready and I have had no issues this far even with a stress test.
I am more than happy with this purchase.

I was able to get this card at MSRP, which is a great unto itself. Card worked straight out of the box and the extra support arm came with as well. Zero issues with out of the box. Been using it for over two months now and am able to crank out max settings on all of my games running 1440p. It handles temps very well and I haven't heard it get loud enough to be noticed audibly. Of course, temps do go up pushing it but nowhere near the amount I was expecting.
I do Cad mapping as a hobby and the VRAM (in addition to new CPU) take my render/export time from 14 to 20 mins per map to under 5 minutes! Absolutely love this card!

Coming from an RTX 3080 Founder's Edition I was concerned that the quality may not be up to the same standard. While there are obvious plastic parts, this card still seems to be of high quality.
Running Furmark for 15 minutes at 1440p the temperatures settled out as follows;
Core: 66C
Memory: 63C
Hotspot: 77C
The performance has been very strong and I am very happy so far with the card.

It's big, makes my old 3080 TI look tiny in comparison. That size does come with the advantage of helping it to stay cool as the heatsink is massive. It handles everything game I have played with ease.
Cons are it's size, if you have a smaller case it may not fit, you may also need to upgrade your PSU to use this card.

Insane performance. Crazy wattage. But man oh man.
It’s so powerful that I rarely do anything but launch a game, set everything to ultra ;@1440p) and play.
In love with the card. Been through multiple different brands and generations of cards and this one takes the cake.
If you were to upgrade from a 1080ti, this is the one.

Excellent GPU

Excellent GPU. I was lucky to purchase one at the second day. Also I purchased a new 1000w power for it, because my old power is 650w. But the GPU seemed not like the new power and PCIe 5.0 interface, it keep shutting off. And then I changed back to the power with 3-1 adapter, so far so good. With ray track and DSLL, the temperature is stable at about 62C. By the way, make sure to have a support tool, it is a little heavy.

You wanna feel like rah when playing? Then pick up one of these bad bois. Not only are you paying less than a normal 4080 but you also get the ability to play way above your skill tier. And not only do you get bragging rights of having a 4080 super but you can laugh at those who purchased a regular 4080 at a higher price. It very gud

I ordered this 4080 Super as soon as I noticed it was in stock, and it shipped very quickly and arrived at my door as described. The box was sealed, and the GPU is working flawlessly in my PC. I would definitely purchase a GPU from Best Buy again! Make sure you measure your PC case by hand to make sure this will fit before you order! These GPUs are VERY LARGE! My attached photo shows the 4080 Super compared to a 2070.

The performance is that of a 4080 super.
The cooling is robust and quiet and runs plenty cool. The card is heavy (as 4080s are) and comes with an anti sag bracket that looks nice when installed. It makes the massive card appear bigger in the case.
