I decided to purchase the MAG24C after a recent PC upgrade as I was interested in getting a 144Hz secondary monitor to play games on. I found this MSI Monitor to be an excellent balance of features while still coming in at a budget-friendly price point (I paid $160 during a sale). At $160 I think this monitor has a lot to offer. The panel quality is good, and while colors and overall sharpness isn't on par with a similar IPS panel, images are vibrant and color accuracy appears to be respectable, especially for gaming purposes. I was happy to see that my monitor was free of any dead pixels, and light-bleed is nearly non-existent. The lack of light-bleed on the monitor could be a result of it being a "frameless" design with only the slimmest of bezels present on the perimeter of the screen, but regardless it is something I am surprised to see in a monitor at this price bracket. Freesync (capable over HDMI, whereas some other budget monitors limit it to Display Port) was immediately identified and enabled by my RX 470 GPU. This, coupled with the monitors 144Hz refresh rate, have made it an excellent performer for my needs. So far in my daily use, I haven't experienced any major instances of ghosting, with the image maintaining sharpness despite on-screen motion. Overall, I am very happy with this monitor and think it is a strong contender if you are able to find it in the $140-$160 price range. At that point, I think you are getting an absolute bargain, especially if you are AMD user looking for a Freesync-capable 1ms/144Hz monitor.

When I had purchased this monitor it came with a lcd that was loose. The lcd was literally about to fall off.

The box came with a hole and hit the monitor, when I saw it was late to return, I won't buy with best buy anymore.

I have used this monitor for over a week now, and everything about it other than the brightness is awesome! The 144Hz refresh rate definitely helps when it comes to gaming. I recently purchased a new computer, then I would try and wait for a deal on a monitor. The curved screen helps with immersiveness when it comes to movie watching or gaming. I would recommend for anyone looking to save money on a good monitor!

Some pixels were out off the bat on the right side of the screen.

I've only put about 10 hours of gaming into this monitor, but everything has been as good as I expected so far. Colors are bright and the frame rate results in a really smooth experience. I was initially worried that a 24' curved monitor would be too small, but the size is perfect. The curved screen is gorgeous and keeps you immersed in game play. The only issue I've come across may not even be an issue at all. The LED strips across the back of the monitor do not come on, but it isn't a big deal to me personally. If I come across any serious issues over the next few weeks I'll be sure to update.

The quality of this monitor is awesome, the darks are very rich, and distinguishing stuff in the dark is easy (contrast). To me VA Panel does a very good job too, the colors are rich, colorful and beautiful, while gaming is snappy and fast. My favorite quality is 144 Hz, coming from 60 Hz, is very noticeable, my dell g7 15 (2018), can do 100 fps in BF V on minimum settings, and of course more in other games. My laptop has NVIDIA 1060 max-q 6 GB card. According to some source online, this monitor can use adaptive sync, pretty much this Free sync monitor, can work with my NVIDIA card, and give me free sync/adaptive sync. 24-inch size is the perfect, I think for 1080p, it is the best size, in order to keep pixel density. Gaming on it is nice, I can really enjoy the picture, laptop’s display wasn’t doing it justice. Brightness is also very good, I didn’t feel like it was not bright enough in my bright room. The stand is sturdy and premium, but with my laptop set up, I got a VIVO 75x75 monitor mount stand 27$ worked out great. (check pictures), Also edges are narrow, it’s mostly screen. TO connect my laptop to monitor, I bought USB C -> Display Port adapter, IVANKY 14$ on amazon, IN ORDER to get 144 HZ, because the HDMI->HDMI which came with the monitor, only gives 140 HZ. To activate 1 MS response rate/(MPRT) which is Moving Picture Response Time, you can go in setting of the monitor and select Extreme, I personally can’t see the difference in game, but it makes the monitor darker. I think it makes it better, less ghosting, that’s what I read. I checked it with a UFO Test, I think it makes LESS BLURRY. But I always activate when I play at night in the dark. Got this monitor from Best Buy through Google express (gave me 20$ off). Making it 161$ with tax, which was a great deal.

To begin with MSI is a trusted brand that makes high quality items so quality control is nothing to worry about. Couple this with the added benefits such as: curved screen, 144hz refresh rates, 1 ms response time, and the multiple display modes to adjust your specific needs, what else could you possibly ask for. The included stand and screws fro wall mount are also nice and sturdy and can assure that they will firmly mount. For the price and features it comes with, this monitor is an absolute bargain that i recommend fro anyone getting into pc gaming.

After searching online for a couple of days for a new gaming monitor, I stumbled across this one on Best Buys website. It was on sale foe 160 dollars!!!! 144hz 1080 P curved monitor for that price was a steal. when it got here I was pleasantly surprised. It has amazing color once you tweak it a little and the quality is honestly pretty good for a budget monitor. All in all totally worth it.

When buying a monitor, I had very specific specs in mind. I was looking for a curved 144hz display port monitor that also looked stylish and was around 200 bucks. I have used my fair share of monitors in my day (I even owned an MSI Gaming laptop for a while and apart from this new MSI monitor I got, that was my favorite screen.) and this is the absolute best monitor I have ever owned. I have never owned a 144hz monitor and let me tell you, the instant I set it to 144hz, I improved my ability in games. I was able to play Rainbow Six Siege like never before. Even just moving the mouse across the screen was smoother. Whoever says your eye can only see up to 60 frames or less is LYING! Set up was easy as well; screw 3 screws into the base for the stand, and the monitor easily snaps on like a wall-mount. (Did I mention this monitor is wall mountable?) There is even an audio jack in the back, so I can hook my speakers up there and can enjoy playing my Nintendo Switch on this amazing monitor. The curve also is extremely nice. Even viewing from different angles still feels extremely nice. I was skeptical about having the low blue-light feature since I thought it would distort colors. Boy I barely notice it! And It definitely strains my eyes a lot less. Pros: 144 hz, 1920x1080 displayport curved freesync monitor for an affordable price. Low Blue-light means less strain for my eyes. Easy set up + Wall-mount Audio Jack HDMI, Displayport and DVI. Cons: I was afraid I would drop it while setting it up, but that's just me :P Tl;dr: If you're looking for a 144 hz freesync 1080 curved monitor for an affordable price, this is the one to get.

There are many more Gaming Monitors over the $300+ marker, but this MSI monitor exceeds most. Not only with the price when it's on sale, but the graphics are just beyond for its value. The design and size are perfect for what I needed. The red/black color matches my Omen PC & headset. You can't go wrong with this purchase. To finish the review, delivery was on time and nothing damaged. Thank you Best Buy for my gaming equipment!

I just got this monitor but it seems that there are small dots on the lower right hand of the screen. I was excited for the fact that this was my first 144hz monitor and it was working just fine. When I got home from work I turned it on and noticed dead pixels on the bottom right of the monitor. Not sure if warranty coveres this but this is still one of my favorite monitor that I have bought. Sorry for the pink wallpaper, I was trying to find if there were more dead pixels and white wasn’t an option for a reason.

I didn't know what to expect when I first bought the monitor because of its budget friendly price. But was I surprised when I finally got it out of the box. Its well constructed, has a height adjustable stand with your standard monitor movement, up down and left to right. After I turned the monitor on I couldn't believe how crisp and clear the picture was. The color was the best I've seen on ant monitor I've used in the past. So I put the monitor to the test by seeing how well the monitor performed in my photo and video editing programs. Passed with flying colors and for the PC gamer who's on a budget, best gaming and editing CURVED LED VA Panel monitor for under $200. I love this monitor so much I'm buying a second one for a 2 monitor set up.

It's curved, 24", up to 144 Hz, and has a VA display. For only $169.99, it's definitely one of the best options for gaming monitors out there. Coming from a TN display, I noticed how much more colorful this monitor was.

This was my first ever monitor and it was amazing. This was a fantastic monitor at a great price. I couldn’t find another monitor of these specs at this price point. Assembly was very easy and did not require a lot of effort. The colors are so astounding this definitely exceeded my expectations.

Was looking for a new gaming monitor after my old one died. When looking over the specs of the various pc's in best buy, and found that for the price this computer was unbeatable. Its MS time is great at 1ms. As the 144hz is perfect for gaming, and every game I've put to the test has work past my expectations.
