And 144hz is perfect for gaming. I love how you can adjust the height and the tilt. I would highly recommend this monitor for anyone!

great but 2 minor problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been on the hunt for a really good, high refresh rate monitor for a few months now to pair with my recently upgraded computer. on Cyber Monday I got this one for a steal here and it checked all of the boxes for what i wanted in a new monitor: -120+ Hz refresh rate (144 is really good too ) -curved -bigger than my old 22" monitor -Freesync (AMD ftw!) I decided to get this monitor over others because I've bought MSI products in the past and so far I haven't had a single one that failed me (and it was a bonus that it was on sale) so reliability. The fact that they use Samsung panels (over no-name brands) also helped skew my decision towards this one. Honestly after coming to 144 Hz after being with 60 Hz for the last 20 years of my life is a game changer, whenever I play tom clancy's rainbow six siege I can actually see everything when I turn rather than some motion blur from the 60 Hz. I was kind of nervous about 144 Hz because I didn't know if it would really make as much of a difference as everyone says but its true its so much better than 60 and I could never go back after this. There ate only 2 gripes that I have with this monitor: 1, the power brick has a whining sound that comes from it when the powers off so, I just turn off the surge protector when everything off. 2, the monitor comes with an HDMI cable rather than a DisplayPort cable which limits me (for at least the next 2 days at least) to 120 Hz at the moment until I get a DisplayPort cable. Overall this is an amazing monitor for the price. If you were looking to get into fast paced gaming this is a great place to jump into it. Its cheap, it's curved and you don't get screen tearing. (just factor in 10$ for a DisplayPort cable ) What do you feel are the strengths and weaknesses of the product?

Good entry-level gaming monitor

Graphics are good and performance is good. The color and saturation seem a little off to me, but it might be that he has it hooked up to a Nintendo Switch and not a more powerful video source.
