Customers regard the PRO Z690-A WIFI DDR4 motherboard favorably due to its fast WiFi 6E capabilities, ample M.2 slots for expansion, and user-friendly design. Positive feedback also highlights its overclocking support and strong performance with both 12th and 13th generation Intel processors. The competitive price point is also frequently praised. However, some users experienced issues with the I/O shield not being pre-installed.

Just fine for DDR4 technology, but I ultimately went with the ASUS Z690 MAXIMUS EXTREME DDR5 board.

Great stable board. The ARGB headers could use some work though.

Pros:
I think it is the most affordable motherboard at this time supporting the 12th gen of Intel processors. I love how it does not push me to use DDR5 memory, because it can barely be found at the moment. No need to comment the 1 Gbps link which I have using the integrated LAN port. Bluetooth and WiFi functions are the two other features that I love. Needless to say it supports the latest for now standarts - 802.11 ax and BT 5.2. The user manual is well-written and enduser-readable.
Cons:
Unfortunately, I had problems with the rear I/O shield - it may have been case problem, but both the box and the motherboard are the ATX form factor, so I expect them to match perfectly, which they didn't do. Another problem which many users may have found is the not so easy driver installation process. Personally, I would prefer them to be all in the Internet or sent by mail (i.e. after product registration) - not in a CD, which no one uses today.
Overall:
Overall, I would heavilly recommend this product to anyone who wonders. Also, if given the choice, maybe I would purchase it again. The only think that I really want to change is the rear I/O shield panel.

Seems like I got a faulty motherboard. Keeps making disconnecting usb sound while using computer which causes it to crash after a while. I can't return it anymore since they don't allow.

Rock solid/stable. Check MSI QVL NVME List

Make sure you check the MSI QVL support list for M.2 nvme drives you can use. My 1TB S70 Blade didn't work, and I had no what was wrong. You can also use PcPartPicker. Just go to system builder, and select this motherboard. Once you do that, and search for nvme drives, it will show you what is compatible. Also, BB uses their own SKU numbers, so make sure when you reference the MSI QVL list, you cross reference the PCPP as well.
Rock solid motherboard. I had originally bought the Gigabyte Gaming X DDR4, and used that with my 12600k. Nightmare of a board. Until GB fixes their bios/M.2 recognizing/Ram support etc avoid that board, and get this one. Big shout out to Buildzoid, and Frame Chasers for pointing this board out. It made the whole nightmare with Gigabyte, easier to deal with.

Excellent motherboard for gaming

This motherboard came as part of my iBUYPOWER TraceMR Gaming Desktop. I decided to go this route rather than picking all of my own parts and building from scratch this time. So far it has been excellent and I'm very satisfied with this motherboard.
