    speed and clarity were great. i had an issue similar to another poster with keyboard keys not registering input upon pressing nor upon pressing/release. additionally, the wifi radio had annoying intermittent connection drops. all drivers fully updated. and purchased a separate laptop on same order. no issues. no issues anywhere in the house. just the MSI. found on reddit boards that MSI has small percentage of bad radios (wifi). I'm returning it today because I am not repairing something that is 10 days old. I've had good experience with MSI historically. this is a real disappointment.

    I bought one, exchanged it for another, returned the second one. First one kept freezing on me. I'd be in the middle of an Excel file, email, or Zoom call and it would just freeze. Nothing else would be on in the background no additional apps or web browsers, and it would just randomly freeze. The second one would randomly turn off the monitor. If I was watching a YouTube video when the screen went black, the audio would continue to play. But I could not unlock the screen or get it to turn back on until I did a hard reset. This second one also had an AWFUL camera. I was in a Zoom meeting and for whatever reason the camera would change colors. My meeting teammates asked me if I had an LED strip light that was changing colors it was so bad. The answer to that is no. Both times MSi support claimed that they have not heard of any issues like mine. The first person said it must be a hardware issue and to exchange it for a new one, so I did. The second person told me to just get a different laptop. I thought that was incredibly awful to say to person whose money benefits your company. Best Buy costumer service is 10 out of 10 just to be clear. They were understanding and apologetic with every return. I now am using an HP Spectre which cannot run any video games on it except for Minecraft and I'm looking into getting a different gaming laptop around black Friday. Genuinely, save your money and get a different laptop.
