Terrible. Keyboard failure after 3 months, plagued with problems. Overheat shutdown with barely any usage.

Bought this over a month ago and recently it wont turn on and some of the keyboard keys are not working. The sd card intermittently works. Returning this product today

Overall build quality is good. Sound is good. Responsive controls. I did have to mess with Wi-Fi settings for some reason out of the box as it wouldnt pick up any form of Wi-Fi. Im not a fan of the keyboard setup but that is the only gripe I have with it. Great computer for the price and for a gamer wanting to be on the go. Plenty of space to hold data and games. Id rather have 32 ram but what is has is enough for pretty much anything.

As retail gaming laptops go, this machine has been impressive. I had previously owned a Dell G7 that was great and was apprehensive about buying an MSI. I was soon put at ease! Thus laptop outperforms the G7 (Obviously the internals are more advanced) But seems to run smoother. Fewer bugs as I've now had it for just over a year and 3 months. Still running strong, no hiccups.

I bought this computer to replace an Acer Nitro 5! I purchased another MSI for school being an IT major. I wanted an MSI for personal use! I upgraded the RAM to 32GB and I added a 2-tb data drive. I’ve never owned a system with this much power before! The i9 is Amazing! I love the display size and picture quality! I’ve just begun to game on it. I have a large iTunes library in it! The battery life is longer than I originally anticipated but it is still low. But with a computer this powerful it is to be expected! I love it!

Great Laptop for the price!!! Love everything about it. Noticed the better quality screens are a lot more expensive between $2k to $3k. It's better than my 10 year old MSI screen, can't complain here. One noticeable issue/not issue, if you are gaming the keyboard gets hot as both fans are working to get the heat out. Heat literally comes out of the keyboard. Great feature in winter but not so great during warm days.

MSI has built an Awesome Laptop with this GS77. It has a very fast boot up due to the I9 processor and the M.2 hard drive. The keyboard is lit, you can change the colors depending on the game you are playing so it is custom to that game. The graphics are smooth and game play at the highest settings while playing RUST doesn’t slow it down at all. This laptop is extremely awesome. The refresh rates are good too. Now for the bad, the power brick will get hot at times, the laptop too will get warm while I am playing at everything maxed out. The touch (I do not use) can be a hard to hit the buttons, or at least I am not a fan of them anyways so I turn mine off but when I did have it on, it just wasn’t like my old laptop, not that it is bad just different than what I was used to. There is a way to change the colored keyboard so that it gets customized to your games, I just haven’t figured out how to keep it one color all of the time. I did add a second M.2 hard drive just because I could and I will upgrade the RAM to 32 when I get the time, 16 is just a little shy. The battery hasn’t been an issue for me at all but I mostly have it plugged in all of the time and use a “saver” setting so not to kill the battery.

For the price it's an amazing computer. It's very fast. I wasn't expecting the fingerprint reader which has been a big bonus to me so much easier to sign in. I like the full size layout of the keyboard. I only wish the number pad was a little bigger but it's not bad. It's incredibly fast, light years above my old computer. I went in looking for an i7 laptop and they had this i9 on sale so I picked it up and I'm glad I did. The i7 had a newer graphics chip but I'm very pleased with this computer. It took some doing to find it because the store (Hattiesburg MS) didn't have it out on display. I THOUGHT I was buying the i7 computer and when he scanned the box it came up higher priced. We realized it was the i9 that they had in stock. Imagine how that works - if you'd display you had it for sale maybe it'd get sold. it is not a touchscreen, that's the only downfall. Maybe because it's a gaming computer or something that they didn't put one on it. But overall it's a very good purchase, The only issue I've had is the screen will go blank for a few seconds every once in a while I don't know if that's because it's doing something or if it's a glitch. It's only happened a couple of times since I've had it so far no other issues.

I bought this being I haven’t had a new laptop in years and needed a major upgrade. This laptop is super fast, has a bunch of great features and the ability to add on another hard drive for more memory and it works amazing with my 3D design I work with. I’m going back to school for more 3D education and this laptop will for sure help out with all the programs I’ll use.

Fast and responsive laptop. It does have an oddly formatted keyboard which is a slight drawback but you can always use an external one. So far very happy with this machine. It is a solid case and seems durable. Screen is large which is nice although a higher resolution would have been a better choice since it has plenty of power. I would buy it again.

I really like the laptop. It works great as far as performance. Handles my gaming needs great. The reason for the 3 star review is the following. It gets hot, and I mean hot to the touch. I have to keep a fan under it and a regular fan blowing on it constantly. When I first got it there were lights on the keyboard which is majorly needed for me. After a week or so they just stopped. I have done updates and tried everything it says to do. Nothing works. Any videos I find on it have people I can barely understand and are of no help at all. So those are the 2 major flaws that I have found with it after having it a month

This laptop is a BEAST of a laptop. My husband uses it when he is traveling and has had no issues with it. It runs phenomenally on high pressure games.

This laptop replaced a laptop that I used for school. After a week of using this, it does the job. I upgraded the RAM to 32GB and it's even faster!

Overall its a great laptop. The performance of the laptop is fantastic, I just wish the battery would last more than 2 hours.

It has run perfectly for the entire time i have owned it for so far and the graphics and storage is amazing
