2 years later this laptop still runs great. Use it for light gaming like fighting games(dragon ball) league of legends, apex and some music programs

Right from boot-up the MSI Sword was a fantastic upgrade for me. The system: smooth, design: beautiful, features: perfect for larger demand programs/ games (I love the hot-key for the cooling fans) - I upgraded the already quick RAM from the single 8Gb stick to 32Gb (2-16Gb sticks) and this thing is lightning fast with 0 compatibility issues. Love it!

I look at the specs for all the other pcs in the range and they are either low grade crap or 100s of bad reviews i dont studder lag or anything i run 60 fps cause wifi sucks nothing not even a tear on cod med graphics cant run high because its barely to low but who cares ty for making this pice of art and not over charging for it costumer for life msi the boss

Bought this for my son and it's amazing. Graphics and speed are stellar.

Great for the price, runs my games smoothly and the fans aren't too loud. Battery life is a little short but I'm sure it depends how much power it takes to play specific games.

This is a good laptop for the value. If you can afford it, get the i7 version as that’s even better value. But if this is your price point, then go for it. It’s not going to run the most demanding games at 300fps, but you will be very capable of playing most stuff with med-high settings in my experience. Only build quality issue is the keyboard labeling. My WASD keys have rubbed off completely within months.

If you're looking for a great gaming laptop this is it, but with one with minor detail. Upgrade the RAM as soon as you take it out of the box. You will experience RAM bottlenecking because 8GB is simply not enough to support high end games even with a RTX 3050. While its apart there is a slot for an extra SSD buy one as well. Then this beautiful thing will last longer than most medium end desktops if you do the upgrades mentioned above. The MSI suite is also less than desirable but it gets the job done. The nice thing about this, compared to most gaming laptops this has an Ethernet port so you can get a gard wired connection preventing precious lag you might see on WiFi. This laptop goes on sale all the time, dont spend above $800.00 or yku are iver paying.

Works excellent but the battery doesnt charged has to be kept on the plug.

Great Laptop, only upgrade you need is ram! Battery life is not that great 4ish hours on a average usage while unplugged.

Overall a pretty good laptop if you need something that can run any application at a smooth pace. Have had it for around a couple months, have had no issues with it thus far. In terms of gaming, it runs all my games with no issue. for the price, you can always install more ram as there is antoher slot that is avail. Overall i would recommend.

Notebook design is clean and components are well put together with a fair bit of room for after-market upgrades. Initial software package contains some obnoxious bloat-ware and "offers" but nothing outside the norm. Unfortunately the battery leaves something to be desired but that wasn't unexpected given the gpu. The only other major issue is the backlighing on the monitor is fairly dim and small text can be blurry Solid purchase overall

Great entry level Gaming PC. I've always been a console gamer but found myself playing alone as all of my friends had moved onto PC gaming. I wasn't sure about how I felt in regards to PC gaming so I decided to get a budget gaming laptop to start. I'm glad I did. Have had a pleasant experience in the month I've owned it. Have not run into any issues as of yet. I am able to play modern games without incident or lagging

got this for my 12yr old and she's enjoying it. did add another 8gigs of ram. will upgrade ssd to 1t when needed.

This has been an excellent laptop for my teenager. He's not overly complicated with specs and it's been easy to use.

I have always been a fan of msi I've used multiple of their products of the years and this pc is great it good mid tier gaming laptop slim and easy to travel with and do some medium gaming on the go! Recomend upgrading the ram for a little more performance gains

Graduation present for my son going to college. Built for work and gaming. I Just upgraded the RAM from the original 8GB

Honestly I wasn’t expecting the spectacular but it by far has been more than enough for any game i ahve tried so far. The fans can be loud but better loud then a fried CPU. Plus most games are better played with headphones anyway. For the orice this computer is well worth it.

I don't know much about computers, but this laptop does everything I want. Looks great, plays great. Only real thing I recommend is get a good cooling mat for it since the whole bottom puts out heat, otherwise I've had no real issues with it!
