The MSI Sword 15 is a good entry level laptop. The price for the product is excellent and preforms well in most games. Only negative thing I can say is its battery life isn't that good.

Takes a while to start, with previous gaming laptops I had usually took 5s, with this it takes longer (5-9 s) Battery lasts around three hours with regular use (expected), two hours or less using the graphic card for editing or gaming. Sometimes it crashes while using any browser. (Mozilla Firefox or Edge) Nice design, and sturdy enough. Good for gaming but not recommended for productivity, I would recommend the intel 11th mobile generation processor (model ends with letter ‘u’) since the battery will last longer and will be powerful enough to work with Autocad, illustrator or any other software.

I’ve had this for a couple years now and absolutely no issues. The white case gives off a flashy image and my friends really enjoy the look of it while I’m gaming. It can run any game thrown at it and such an affordable price. I recommend to anyone looking for a gaming laptop. My fps in the new COD is always over 100 when graphics are set to medium/high.

This laptop replaced my 2017 surface pro and its better in every way. However, there have been moments when horizontal stripes appear on my screen when I'm browsing on Edge. But then again, why am I using Edge?! I'll update review in a few months. I have to get charger often. But take that with a grain of salt. It's powerful and I haven't been paying attention to how long I'm using it before I need to get the charger. Like I said, will give better review in a few months.

Graphics r amazing. Needs extra memory but runs great

I have had this Laptop for little over 5 Months and i have to say its been amazing. This is my first Gaming Laptop ever Owned and I'm impressed with it. The Price point is great for the hardware you get. The only thing i ask is MSI put 16Gb of ram in these laptops. Also we shouldn't have to void our warranty's for a ram upgrade. But overall provides a great gaming experience. I can play everything about maxed out. So yes i recommend this machine. I love the white chassis and the blue backlit keyboard.

This is my first MSI laptop and also my first gaming class laptop. I am not disappointed in the performance of the CPU and the SSD. Startup is very fast, app launching is quick. The display is pretty decent. You will see reviews that point out the color range of the display is not the best, but it also is not the worst, the refresh rate is very good. My purchase included two games that I have not been able to download and try out yet. The case itself is good, I was a little worried because this is my first case that is all plastic with no aluminum but it has been solid so far. You will want to keep the laptop on a solid surface when in use. It doesn't get too hot but it does get hot enough that it would be uncomfortable if it was on your lap. If you choose to watch a movie and have this sitting any distance away from you, you might want to use a speaker. Things to get after your purchase: more RAM. 8mb is a great start, but it is just a start and this laptop maxes out at 64mb so this will be my first upgrade. an External monitor, if you are serious about color range get an external monitor and besides, a dual display gaming setup is good. A larger SSD. Some reviews say there is another slot for an additional SSD but I can't confirm that as I haven't cracked my case yet. I like this laptop but I also purchased it on sale at $300 off. I would not buy this at the regular price of $1,199.

Quick points that you need to know. 1. What you get for the price of this is amazing. 2. Latest games run no problem. (2022) 3. Ram is on the lower side but EASILY upgraded. Upgraded to Crucial 32gigs 3200Mhz. Do the install right. Access to the inside is incredibly easy and efficient. 4. The Sword is beautiful. Well designed. It's working wonderfully. 5. Webcam is low quality, but it does the job. Small price to pay for a strong machine.

I tried this laptop out but returned it for a different model. Even doing average daily stuff the fans would ramp up and the thing would get wicked hot. The picture quality is so so, not as bad as a budget laptop but not great for the price point.

Love the fastness of the laptop. Graphics are good. But it has problems. The speakers are weak. I can barely hear a lot of the movies on Netflix and other sites. The battery does NOT last long. Two hours at most. My power cord keeps slipping out of the port on the laptop. I am returning.

I am not a gamer, but was told that the MSI was reliable for everything now and in the future. Just so you know this laptop weighs a bit more than your normal laptop, but believe me you will learn to appreciate such quality and reliability. I am blown away each day that it is ready at all times and quickly. The laptop suits my needs right now, but am currently looking at RAM & SSD upgrades for the very near future.

Writing on this laptop right now a year later. Remarkably solid and holds up well living inside of a bag that gets carried everywhere daily. Battery life is the weakest point, but I wanted a gaming laptop, not a chrome book. Been playing Diablo 4 on it with no issues.

Excellent budget gaming laptop. Very fast with pretty good graphics

One of the best laptop under a thousand, if not the best. Easy to upgrade, powerful enough to play any AAA games at playable FPS, fast screen and the design is super clean, i am a High end user but i needed a cheap laptop for casual gaming etcs, this is it.

Great product i would highly recommebd junping to at least 32gbs of ram though. Really helps the computer smooth out and feel more like a desktop Battery life - drains fast maybe 2-4 hours depending Back lite keyboard is super clean. Unique color scheme. Excellent screen. Plays dota and gta on low to medium settings.

Great speed and graphics. This laptop was purchased for one of my employees of my accounting firm. I have used gaming laptops because of the speed to process multiple programs with ease. This laptop is very fast for what I use it for and set up was very easy and the savings were great, and shipped faster than expected.

Ellegant design, white mate is cool, backlit keyboard has a clear light blue, comes with extra bay to add a ssd drive and aditional 8gb of ram 3200Mhz, clear camera and faster i7 11th Gen processor.

Excellent Laptop. I bought this to replace an aging laptop, and this unit is fast and compact. The RTX 3050 graphics chips allows me to play any game I want, and it renders video for graphic arts (software must support GPU rendering).

I love this Laptop. I got it originally as a travel device that would allow me to do creative work, and ended up using it as a primary gaming laptop. For the money (i got it on sale at $800) this is a great PC.
