Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the Z490-A PRO motherboard's ease of use, competitive price, and BIOS. Many appreciate its performance and compatibility with various components, along with its extensive features. However, some users point out the lack of integrated Wi-Fi as a significant drawback. The absence of RGB lighting was also noted by a few customers, though this did not appear to be a major concern for most.

MB is great does what I need without the extra I will never use. Discounted with cpu purchase. The only negative is not with the product but how it was shipped. They slapped a shipping label on the mother board box and did not put it in a shipping box. The box arrived with one side soaking wet and falling apart. Fortunately the MB was in its plastic anti-static bag and all other parts were still there.

This motherboard is really just a barebones component for people who need a basic LGA1200 socket. The IO gives you 5 USB-A, 1 USB-C, and ethernet which is usually adequate enough to connect peripherals. But the biggest thing for me is that for $180 in 2021, you should at least have bluetooth capability and built-in wifi on your motherboard. Because this MoBo lacks these 2 functionalities for that money, I think a 'fair' price would honestly be in the $120 range. The BIOS is basic, look is basic, and overall functionality is basic. Otherwise, it runs well, but voltage to the PCI Express ports aren't as well controlled as higher end motherboards - which is expected; but keep that in mind if you want to do anything more than a modest overclock on your GPU.

Great motherboard, I have multiple boards running different intel CPUs and none of them give me any issues at all. Nice blacked out look and multiple NVME slots are nice for a darker PC build with minimal wiring

Nice basic z490 motherboard. Tons of fan headers! While it doesn’t have as many usb connections as my old motherboard that won’t be a problem unless you have a ton of usb Peripherals. The install went smoothly being my first Intel based machine in 20 years.

Good "budget" motherboard to be able to use the 1200 socket processors. I knew this didn't come with wifi, so keep that in mind before you purchase. Paired it with a 10th gen I3 for a budget yet powerful gaming computer.

Ive never purchased a motherboard for more than $100. So far im impressed with the features it has. Minimal (no rgb) sleek design with heatsink pad for m.2 ssd. Great value and i hope it lasts me a good while.

I got this to go with an i5-10400 processor, it fit the processor but due to non-standard labeling of the size of my case, it wouldn't fit so I ended up returning it. It was notably cheaper than a similar board I got later that would fit the case.

Bought this as replacement for a prebuild system that I also bought from Best buy as that board died. So far its been just fine and works great with the 11700f. Install was easy. Really wish motherboard manufactures would make all boards have built in I/O shields.

This was a easy choice when I saw it. But it to make rig go from ok to epic. USB c to start with with was great. No longer needing antenna for WiFi. And finally a m.2 ssd slot that old board didn’t have. Well worth it in my mind.

No issues whatsoever. Kind of impressed with the overclocking capabilities of this board considering it is on the lower end of the Z490s. Paired with the Intel - Core i7-10700 10th generation 8-core - 16 - Thread 2.9 GHz.

I have used this board in over 50 builds never had a issue with 1, silly to think ppl say this is a budget board lol. have had 10700ks and 10900ks clocked at 5.2 stable daily drivers with these and no issues.

This board is VERY high quality for the price. I wouldn't necessarily recommend using a 10900k on the board, but you definitely could. The VRM stays fairly cool even with my 10700K running a 5.1 all core OC.

Works great. I had no issues using it out of the box. I did update the bios as newer versions were available. Have had no crashes or any issues. Bios is a bit ugly but not a problem to use and change settings.
