Customers admire the Z590-A PRO motherboard's affordability and ease of use, frequently praising its BIOS and the range of features offered at its price point. Positive feedback also highlights its strong performance. However, some users point out the lack of integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as a significant drawback, and there are some reports of compatibility issues with certain CPUs and PCIe slots.

This is a pretty solid overall mid level Gaming / Overclocking board with a very familiar BIOS to MSI and being a z590 there is PCI 4.0 functional, paired with an i5 11600k and 4133mhz RAM OC to 4300 (4x 8gb G-Skill) and integrated graphics that run great on a 165hz HDR 1440p (2k) monitor, built for an office PC I toned it down to just a light overclock on CPU and stock XMP 3600 (2X8) 16GB RAM and a Samsung 970 evo plus 500gb MVMe SSD!
I must admit I wish I had soent the extra to get the WIFI version, and there were no instructions n11900ko media a very basic outside package but it runs very fast all components stayed well within thermals I would say you could.. technically run an i9 11900k/10900k but i7 / i5 probably a bit less intense on VRM and PCH but stable and priced appropriately at ~175$ ish in q2 2022..
Not alot to super brag about but worked grest out of the box looks better in a nice case, 8 out of 10.
To top it off Best Buy had one locally and had it ready to pickup outside superbl quick by a friendly staff member who was fast and helpful!

Dipping my toe into some 11th gen testing I wanted to go as frugal as possible. I wasn't expecting much from this budget board, but it is actually a VERY capable board.
The VRMs are easily in the $250-300+ class and pushing it I was able to hit 375w pull on an 11900k (5.2ghz+ all core) and 295w on an 11700k (5ghz all core) stress testing under Cinebench R23 and this "budget board" handled the pull no problems with VRMs not even getting close to max.
The board is well built and does not include any RGB but at this price point you wouldn't expect it to.
Using a 4x8 32GB B-die Samsung kit, it easily handled XMP CL15 4000 profile with ease. I ended up running the memory in a Gear 1 3733 CL15 config.
It includes very basic pack-ins but again the main star is the motherboard itself and how it can handle serious pull like the big boys. Many motherboards in this price range quickly overheat or will throttle even at a heavy 4.9-5ghz pull. The MSI handled it with ease.
The BIOS includes the standard MSI overclocking tools and the interface they've used for quite some time now across both their Intel and AMD product lines. You are able to really get in there and open up the CPU and you have access to primary and secondary memory timings if you're really looking to tighten things up.
Pictured is both an 11900k and 11700k running full tilt with a 360mm AIO on this board trading blows with much pricier motherboards.
If you're looking for a well built, well priced Z590 motherboard that can not only handle the low end Intel range (10th and 11th) but is quite capable of handling heavy overclocks (375w+), this is the board for you. I was never able to push higher because my AIO hit its wall HARD. Unless you're using a custom loop, chiller, pelt or LN2, your cooling will give away well before this motherboards VRMs ever will.
Excellent performance and value!

First motherboard I got was a dud, ended up getting a replacement of the same one. It has worked perfectly for the past few years I've been using it.

Low USB resources?

I frequently get an error stating that I do not have the resources to run my USB devices. I only have five or six things plugged in. I never had this problem on my older hardware. I've tried different USB sockets including trying to only use the 2.0 sockets, and I've even used tried using a USB hub. I've tried using the 3.0 sockets. I still get the error. It makes no sense not to be able to use all of the sockets at once especially with low speed devices.
Board also lacks an optical audio output, which I overlooked when purchasing. Otherwise it seems okay, but had I known about this USB controller issue, I would have gotten something else

Fully featured motherboard. I'm using it with a 11400 and a PCIe 4.0 WD SN850 NVMe SSD. I picked Z590 over the more basic chipsets for the full PCIe bandwidth 11th gen Intel provides.
The BIOS is laid out well and tuning fan curves with the GUI provided is easy. Support for PCIE resizeable BAR is available for the latest GPUs.
As many Z590 boards can get pricey quickly, this overall has everything you really need. The Wifi model is only slightly more expensive if you need that. You can always buy a m.2 Wifi module and m.2 heatsinks if you need more.

Great motherboard for the price. I have it paired with an I9 10900k and it works great. No issues and love the pcie gen 4 with a 3070. Highly recommend for a 10th or 11th gen intel. Can spend a little more if you need the wifi version, but this works fine if you don't need wifi or have a wifi card.

It is a very awesome MB with totally enough ports for upgrades. Better use it with a gen11 intel cpu so that the gen4 PCIE slot for NVME ssd can be enabled. It has 3 NVME slots, 6 SATA slots, 4 DRAM slots and 2 ARGB jacks. The only con for this MB I can think about is that it has no WiFi on board.
