Even though it takes time to heat and get to pressure, it still cooks food much faster than conventionally. The settings make it easy to use.

This wonderful little pot cooks most things in a quick and predictable way. I have used them as gifts. Everyone loves the versatility.

I almost returned as thought it was broken. It was not. Instruction booklet was disappointing at best. Went online to other manufacturers to get information needed to work this pressure cooker. Love the cooker, bummed such poor instructions.

I wanted to be able to make soup quickly, and it delivered. One star taken off because I had problem setting timer of the "Soup" function to under 20 minutes??? Not a big deal, as I always watch out for the cooking time in general, and do not have a habit of setting the timer and walking away. For those who prefer to set the time and walk away, I suggest you really learn how to use the timer accurately. Also, I got it on sale for 50 bucks, cannot complain.

Product seems to work well. Comes with a stainless steel insert for cooking, which discolored after the first use. Even with the discoloration, I prefer this this over a Teflon coating. Better directions with more recipes would have been nice, but for the price, you really can't beat this product.

Bought this as a present for someone. Since they've received it, it's been used to make a wide variety of foods as the appliance is versatile. The food never gets cold either since it has a warming unit.

I got this for $40 on a Deal of the Day deal so my expectations maybe lower but it well exceeded my expectations. It has done everything I wanted it to do so far. The control panel could be made slightly more user-friendly, especially the display which displays only hours left and not minutes or seconds. (In increments of 0.5 hrs) Shipping was very quick.

I can not wait to cook with my new pressure cooker. I like the features this cooker has and the stainless steel liner inside. Should be easy to clean up and cook with. I bought this on a daily deal ad and thought it was a great value for the price. Reviews were very good and helpful.

The Insignia™ - Multi-function 6-Quart Pressure Cooker - Stainless steel/black works well. i have used it for corn beef as a slow cooker and brown rice as a pressure cooker. The button selections help to decide on the correct setting. I would appreciate more recipes in the leaflet.

The setup is easy, cooks fresh and fast. White rice, brown rice or chicken - anything is easy to cook.

I purchased two, really good value. Used it for few months now, works great and very easy to use.

I love my multi-function pressure cooker! That being said, cons include: no recipes, instruction book is worthless. I thought it was broke and almost sent it back. Searched similar products to learn how to use (thankfully other brands have better instructions). Shouldn't have to go to that much work to use a new appliance.

This company is clueless when it comes to writing an instruction booklet!!! I was boxing this up to return because I thought it was defected! Best to throw the instructions away, check out other pressure cookers instructions to understand how the machine works. Booklet has 3 -4 recipes which I would never use for my family. Once I researched instructions elsewhere, I LOVE my pressure cooker. Went to various sites for recipes. Thinking I may need a second one. It's so safe. I grew up with the old on the stove pressure cookers you had to watch didn't explode (literally). The machine is great if you have the time to do the research.

I hate that the timer is so difficult to set for regular non-preset pressure cooking. I can make rice faster on the stove, so I don't get the point of the rice function. The one nice thing is that this pressure cooker comes with a decent stainless steel pot vs. those awful nonstick pots you find in most other electric pressure cookers. I'm also a bit ticked off that the price was lowered by $10 14 days after I bought the darn thing. Spend the extra money and get an Instant Pot. It really is so much better! I have both.

I like this appliance largely because I think electric models are safer and more predictable. It does perform to my standards and is easy to clean and store.

I was thinking about getting a rice cooker, but I'm happy I decided to get a pressure cooker instead. I used it the day it arrived. I have cooked from rice, beans, to frozen pork. I will definitely purchase another if/when this one gives out. Price was also great.

I needed a useful and unique wedding gift. Found the perfect gift and the newly weds were very pleased. Does so many things, perfect tor a small beginners apartment.

I had a well known pressure cooker before and this one is actually made a lot better. This is a good product for the price. Quite surprised and pleased!
