Bottom line first: The Philips Norelco is remarkable gadget for quick trimming and grooming, combining versatility, reliability, and portability for a person on the go. I'm a razor guy, and I haven't trusted an electric shaver for years. My problem usually stems from having to trim over the same area multiple times to get even a hint of the closeness of a true razor shave. This trimmer won't replace a meticulous shave, but it will get you close to where you want to be in a fraction of the time. The gadget arrived fully discharged, so I tested a full charge session to occur in a very short time (roughly 45 minutes). The trimmer is lightweight and pocket-sized, and the package arrived with a pouch, recharge cables, and multiple heads for all the different areas you choose to shave, including nose hair trimmer and body hair groomer. Maybe the best quality of this product is the "shower-proof" aspect - being able to use this trimmer in the shower and not worrying about electric shock is a huge plus and a major time-saver. And one thing I noticed was the shaver wasn't as noisy as my previous electric trimmers, a nice plus when you are trimming near your ears. The placement of the power button sort of bothered me, as there were a few times when gripping the shaver caused random power-offs, but that's about it on the negative side. Overall, this is pretty much all you need for a do-all shaving and trimming tool. While it won't replace your razor when you have the time to groom, it will save you minutes a day and provide ample versatility for all your grooming needs.
