I love this groomer. It is very versatile, yet does each job as if it were specialized for that purpose. Whether it is trimming body hair, getting rid of those pesky nose hairs, getting a razor close shave on your body (should you be so inclined), or touching up the hair on your head, the Multigroom 7400 does it all. I have an earlier version of the multigroom and can tell you that the 7400 is a much better version. The combs included easily identify which part of the body they are for. I found this extremely helpful because, as a man, I don't like keeping the instructional booklet on something this small. Also included with the 7400 is a nice leather carrying bag. I took this on my most recent trip and was very glad I had something nice to carry it in rather than putting all of the pieces in a ziplock bag or trying to make it fit in my current toiletry bag. The 7400 is also very good without any of the combs or attachments. It provides a smooth trim straight on the cutting blades without any nicks or cuts. Finally, I found the 7400 to be a very quiet trimmer. That's nice so that all of your neighbors don't know you're manscaping. I found this to a be a great value for the price. Highly recommend.

I've owned three other electric groomers in the past. I typically let my facial hair grow out a bit then mow it down with a groomer and follow up with a traditional razor shave, or an electric razor. The previous three groomers did the job, but not so efficiently. I found that I constantly had to go over areas and even then, not all of the hair would get cut. However, with this groomer, I found that it does a great job in cutting almost all the hair. For those that are missed, it doesn't take much effort to go over and cut the stragglers. The charging time is much quicker than I had expected. From a dead charge, it was ready in an hour or two. I like the waterproof design, which allows me to rinse it off rather than having to try and brush it off after every use. I haven't used any of the attachments, nor do I think I'll need to (I've never really used groomers for anything other than my face), so I can't rate them. However, I can't imagine its performance would dip from the bare blades when implementing attachments.

When i received this item, I was really confused whether it will suite all my purpose. but once I started using it,i really liked it.it trims my beard with the same inches i expected.

I have been using this razor for a little over a month. I use it three times a week to keep my beard and mustache trimmed to a neat and clean height. I charge the razor to full and I'm able to get my three weekly shaves in without recharging. Cleanup is simple because the unit is waterproof. I just simply rinse the razor under the faucet after shaving. I have used the adjustable guards. The markings on the guards are very small and require precise positioning in order to lock in the correct shave length/height. Once it locks in, it feels solid and I am confident the guard won't slip or fall off. It attaches firmly and stays attached, the way it should. I have also utilized the edging tool to provide a clean cut finish to my trim. This is the first razor that has been able to do all the functions necessary to maintain the length and style of my facial hair. In the past it would require 2 or 3 different razors to produce the same result.

I gave this to my husband who claims that this is a pretty fair trimmer for his coarse, thick hair. Not great for shaves if you need to be smooth but if you want to keep neat lines it does the trick, and it has held up after being used and rinsed in the shower. I used it to shave the back of his neck (I love this part on a guy!) and the comb seemed a little fiddly so I ended up not using it. The main thing that I personally don't care for is that it can't be used when it is plugged in. It charges fast though, so a little planning fixes that. I'm not sure that it is totally worth the price. Pros: lightweight but solid and well-balanced; water resistant (so far); fast charging; lots of trimming options Cons: doesn't replace a blade for the face; pricey, but gift-worthy

In the last three weeks I practically used all the different accesocies that the kit is bringing with very good results. The machine battery charges quite quickly and the battery stays for long time. The performance is clearly one of the best that I've had in a grooming machine, from small works in nose hair up to my son hair (that was the "piece of resistance" because up to now, the noise of the previous tools was a big drama for my 6 y-o that I finally eliminated with this smooth tool) the machine has been proven as a great addition to the family. It works nicely in dry hair or under the shower. Now I am getting rid of all the previous equipments that I have for the different uses that now I am able to cover with this equipment, that can be stored in a very small purse that is provided with the kit. The only item that I missed is a brush that I could use to clean it but this is not jeopardizing the 5 stars.
