It's a very good subscription and offers great benefits for shopping.

I was kind of scammed into joining the plus membership. I was on the phone buying a phone. The agent told me that in order to get my old phone information onto the new phone I would have to join for the service to be free. When I got to the store I was told to do that I would have to have the next level membership. The guy transferred my information anyway (great service) because I was misinformed. After the process was over he said it would have only cost $8 to do the transfer (the agent on the phone said $90). I am keeping the membership for now, mainly to get the 60 day warrantee on my new phone, But need to say I feel I was misled in getting this plus membership.

I like my rewards for being a member, I just cant use it the way I want due to finances, but I still utilize the lower prices for the members when I can .

I was able to purchase my first home,......Fianally!! I have had products from Best Buy for decades. Always my first and last "Go To". I will be having their Geek Squad installing all new TV and sound equipment this time. Great peace of mind to be done quickly and correctly!!

We think this membership will be of value to us. We have not had a chance to use it yet but from everything we have heard, we will be pleased.

This membership is excellent. It covers the warranty on purchased items for 60 days, and they give you a percentage of your purchase back, which can be used for future purchases. In short, it's magnificent, and I recommend it 100%.

There are exceptional employees at the stores, but there are also terrible employees. When I bought my new Laptop, the first guy I talked with was fantastic, but he was at the end of hs shift, he handed me off to someone else, and he wasn't so great. Also, the hoops you haver to go through to try and take advantage of your upgrade financing offer made it so I instead used the 12 months no interest. Could you make that process easier?

I purchased in-store a set of Bose - QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones. When checking out the cashier told me that instead of purchasing the Bose 2-year extended warranty plan I should get the My Best Buy Plus Annual membership instead, as it would be less expensive AND also cover defects and replacement parts. Having been to the store last Sunday for additional purchases, including picking-up another set of online purchased apple AirpodMax headphones, the associate then told me that the Best Buy Plus membership does not cover any warranty work, nor repairs at all – but provides an extended return period for purchases made (which may come in handy for gifting during the holiday season). Purchasing the respective Bose as well as apple 2-year extended warranty plan then I had no need for the Best Buy Plus Yearly Membership plan at all. Calling Best Buy Plus membership department did not result in being able to cancel due to apparent misfunction in their system with the “press button” feature on ones mobile phone. Contacting Best Buy through the established account with the Chat function is arduous at best, with waiting times upfront and inbetween to get the request completed. The first representative could not even find my Best Buy Plus membership plan, nor did she advise that my chat would be transferred to a different department leaving me in a waiting loop for 14 minutes, which looked as if the chat got hung up (the second representative was able to cancel the membership successfully). As much as I truly enjoy visiting the Best Buy “candy store” – they have a ways to go to have their staff properly trained at all levels, and in all departments. Once the customer feels tricked into purchasing something he does not need, and then have to go through time and nerve consuming return & refund process, the enjoyment disappears and makes room for frustration and aggrevation. Make it easy for the customer: purchasing, returns, warranty claims & repairs, and business should deservedly flourish. No, I do not recommend this product.

I love this membership and its benefits.I use it all the time specially for the back to school each year and when I need technology or appliances during the year. I totally recommend it to anybody.

I got this membership earlier this year when I bought a TV, sound bar and a washing machine. The three main reasons were (a) extension of the return period from 14 days to 60 days (2) 60 day price match and (3) 2 year extended warranty beyond the original manufacturers warranty. Since then, I have discovered that many of the geek squad services are covered for FREE! I had my desktop upgraded with a new SSD hard drive, graphics card and a power supply and a laptop with a new SSD. All of the diagnostics, installation, testing were all done professionally and covered! Then there are member discounts on many items. Geek squad coverage for your cell phone if you buy from them. I highly recommend this membership if you are buying expensive electronics, considering a cell phone or computer component upgrades!

I’m very pleased with the membership so far. Signed up when purchasing a new computer. I’ve already used the plus deals to save some money. Look forward to seeing other opportunities to save money.
