    My Best Buy Membership gives me early information on product and pricing as well as extended return time. I’m a happy camper.

    A slightly absurd membership for pretty high price

    I honestly think the service is a bit more expensive than the benefit it provides. It would also be very nice if consumers didn't have to pay to have a good return window. Also, I haven't gotten a meaningful benefit from the service, as the open box item I set up the membership for was in bad condition, so it was essentially a waste.

    This is a nice option for big purchases and when they have promos going on. Otherwise not sure if I plan on renewing. Member deals don’t seem to be that worth it.

    Awesome sales rep & Geek Squad employees

    On 11/7/24, at the Best Buy in Tinley Pk I had an awesome experience with both Steve the sales rep and Tie & Renee of the Geek Squad. They were so helpful they went above and beyond to help install and get my new Apple iPad ready for use. I am a 68 year old woman, Not very tech savvy at all, but do enough to accomplish all my needs. They were so helpful, Patient, In downloading all of my purchases to my new iPad. This type of Customer Service is to be commended. Five Thumbs up for Tie & Renee of the Geek Squad & Steve the Sale Rep. Thank you, A Very Satisfied Customer.

    Well, it has only been just over a month but so far I have been very satisfied! I get access to nice specials, advance emails, etc. Based on my experience so far I think I will likely renew it next year.

    So many discounts on products with in the store. You be also get chance to get some extra rewards using your card outside the store. Very happy with this.

    Horrible experience, we were lied all the time

    This was the most horrible experience I’ve had in years. I got a membership (and a Best Buy credit card) to get a discount on a Dacor refrigerator. While the discount was substantial, the refrigerator was never delivered. Three days before the scheduled delivery date, Best Buy called and told me the delivery window would be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day, but most likely in the morning. They also said I would receive an email from the delivery crew with more details one day before the delivery. One day before the delivery, I kept checking my email, but nothing came. Then, on the actual delivery day, I discovered an email that had been sent two days earlier. It said I had a scheduled delivery appointment — but also said the appointment was not scheduled and that I needed to schedule it. Yes, two completely contradictory statements in the same email! The email included a link to schedule the appointment. I clicked it and found the earliest available date was three weeks out. No mention of a canceled delivery — nothing. I went to Best Buy, and the associates politely explained that this is a custom-built refrigerator and Dacor had not yet manufactured it. I was told I had to reschedule the delivery in three weeks. Fine — I did that and waited again. About a week before the new delivery date, I got a call saying they could deliver it four days earlier. Unfortunately, I was out of town and asked to keep the original appointment. Three days before the appointment, I got another call from Best Buy confirming the same 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. window, most likely in the morning, and that I’d get another email from the delivery crew one day prior. This time, the email did arrive — but it was the same confusing message as before: it confirmed the appointment and simultaneously said the appointment wasn’t scheduled and needed to be scheduled. The link in the email once again only allowed me to reschedule the delivery for three weeks later. I drove to Best Buy again. They told me, once more, that the refrigerator hadn’t been made by Dacor, and there was nothing Best Buy could do. While I was still driving, I received another email stating that the refrigerator was out of stock and would not be delivered that day. At that point, I canceled the order, canceled the membership, and I won’t be returning to Best Buy for a very long time — if ever. I have to say, that we needed the new refrigerator because the old one died, so all that time we had to live without a refirerator.

    I was told by 2 different staff members that I would receive a $50 gift certificate that would never expire. Instead, I have only 30 days to use it.
