It pays for itself with the special membership savings alone. The extended returns and Geeksquad availability are helpful as well.

I have only seen the benefit of my membership when I first signed up. The “member price” was available on the product that I purchased. The amount of savings was equal to the cost of the membership so it made sense to sign up. But ever since I received that discount I have not seen it on any other products I attempted to purchase. I would recommend this membership for anybody making big ticket item purchases such as TV’s and apple products. With me recently moving into a new apartment and purchasing new TV’s and various technology items the membership has proved beneficial.

It’s good that it can help bump you up in line if you are queued for something that is in short supply. Like trying to buy a video card in my case. But it sucks that it’s come to needing a paid subscription just to try and get ahead of the bots and scalpers for the average consumer.

My Best Buy Plus is a no-brainer—exclusive deals, faster shipping, and rewards that actually add up. I’ve already saved more than I expected. If you shop Best Buy even a few times a year, this pays for itself!

Im a member because I am technically challenged. However; I purchased a television and nobody took my phone number or recorded that it was me. I didn’t notice that they failed to extract my information at time of checkout. I’ve lost the receipt and there’s no way of tracing it. BIG bummer. Not happy about it and I’m a member! I’ll still stay a member, but I expect more. My TV is broken and now I have no recourse.

I'm not sure what it did other than save me money on my laptop when I first subscribed. But that was worth the price of admission.

This membership is worth it especially if you need time to test out the products you purchase. I haven't had any issues at all returning items that I no longer wanted. There are also deals that are exclusive to Best Buy members that I take advantage of because they save me a lot of money.
