I recently purchased the Best Buy Plus membership from BestBuy.com. The driving decision for me was a promotion they had this summer which included a "buy 2, get 1 free" deal on Nintendo Switch games. Including games that were not yet released that would be pre-ordered. Excited about the offer, I carefully selected three games, ensuring that the promotion would apply correctly at checkout. Received a confirmation email with the correct billing breakdown. Unfortunately, what followed was a frustrating experience that left me deeply dissatisfied and upset. When the games were released & shipped, I was charged for all three games instead of receiving the promised deduction for the free item. This glaring discrepancy between the advertised promotion and the actual billing process was incredibly disappointing & unacceptable. It not only wasted my time but also misled me into believing I would benefit from a deal that was not honored. I did not authorize my card to be charged for 3 games. Attempting to rectify the situation, I contacted Best Buy's customer service. The resolution process was drawn-out and inefficient. I found myself waiting on hold for extended periods, only to be met with unhelpful responses and an overall lack of accountability for the error. The failure to honor the promotion as advertised, coupled with the subsequent inconvenience of resolving the issue through customer service, reflects poorly on Best Buy's commitment to customer satisfaction. Such misleading marketing tactics and inadequate customer support are unacceptable for a company of Best Buy's stature. As a consumer, I expected having this membership would be beneficial and provide perks, however that wasn't the case. This experience has significantly diminished my confidence in Best Buy's promotions and their ability to provide reliable customer service. I sincerely hope that Best Buy addresses these issues promptly, ensuring that future promotions are accurately represented and that customers are not misled or inconvenienced as I was. Do not be persuaded by the "exclusive deals." They are not honored and there's no real benefit to gain by purchasing this membership. I now spent $49.99 on an annual membership that offered a buy 2 get 1 game free promotion, thinking that the membership essentially pays for itself with the game being free only to be charged a membership and 3 switch games at $59.99 each.

Just wanted to say that my salesman Nelvin was awesome through this entire process!! I bought 4 new appliances and he walked me through 2 different brands and knew the answer to my every question! Even opened a credit card. I had some issues with the fridge, so we tried to have it fixed. Ended up needing to switch out 2 items. My delivery guys were great and always on time. Also added protection package on the stove and refrigerator. Everything is done and my house looks awesome! From sales, to customer service, to delivery, I am very happy with my purchase! And this Best Buy membership has allowed me to price match, which really holds value and makes me believe I have gotten a great deal as well!

Helps when getting stuff u need for lower I loved it

I like having my $50.00 membership at Best Buy. It allowed to get $100.00 back on a Black Friday price drop plus It is actually free since you get to use $50.00 to purchase something in a store. However I do not like that you can not call a local Best Buy store. Their AI is terrible. The choices they offer are worthless. Get a real person to answer your store phones. I have passed up buying many items from Best Buy because I could not check availability at local store.

The membership is so awesome. Imagine getting deals at unbelievable rates. I can't wait to tell my friends about it. You will never gonelse to purchase your household gadgets i assure you.

I have not really use and/or experience the value of this membership, other than knowing I have 90 days to return/exchange a product. I have not also use the services available from the Geek Squad.

The membership value is real good if you shop at Best Buy a lot. But it’s true value is in the extended return. Because as most of us realize we tend to forget when we’re supposed to return items so I like that this membership gives me a little extra time to sort out if I would like to keep an item for any reason.

This membership is a game changing option to try products, this option allowed my to not worry too much about purchasing that does not fit my needs and gave a window to try and think about what i am getting, great value as well.

One large purchase and it pays for itself, especially if you get NFL ticket.

Membership paid for itself within weeks, I got more than the membership fee back with price matching.

Worth it if you shop enough. You can recoup the cost of the membership in a single purchase.
