    Overall. my expectations for MY BEST FRIEND IS A VAMPIRE were not elevated. I thought it would be entertaining and funny, and to a degree it was both. It was a delightfully new twist on the vampire tale, in that the teenage vampire is in love and refuses to make his girl friend one of his kind.
