Great Smart Thermostat I got this to update my previous smart thermostat that was acting on the fritz. I have been using this for about 3 weeks and so far have zero complaints. The install was a bit tricky because I didn’t have the right screwdriver. A quick run to Ace and I was quickly getting this mounted. Mysa had really nice instructions, so it wasn’t too tough. I’m very pleased that this is a smart thermostat, because I can control it it with my phone! I also paired this with my Google Assistant and Alexa, so I can have the voice control features. I also like that I can control this from the Mysa app, which can be downloaded to your smart phone. The app itself is very easy to navigate. I was hesitant initially because a recent purchase from a competitor’s app was tough to navigate. I’m so happy and relieved this is easy to navigate. I really like that it’s super easy to use. I can just set the temp and go. If I set it to 71 and if it’s not what I want, i can use the touch up or down arrow to increase or lower the temp. It’s very easy and the arrows aren’t too sensitive. Pros: Easy to install! Mysa app WI-FI Compatible with high/line voltage electric heat Touchscreen Energy star cert Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit Great for older setups like wall heaters Cons: Had a hard time finding a small screwdriver for this Battery operated would be a nice feature to add Overall: Wow. This is a fantastic smart thermostat and I highly recommend it. It’s a great price point and I love I can make some adjustments through the app. You should really consider this if you have an older house with older units like a baseboard heater.

I like smart thermostats. Used properly, they can not only make your life a lot easier, but also save you some cash. Mysa might not necessarily be a known brand, but to be fair, there is a lot of tough competition on the market. So, what can this thermostat do what others can't and should you get one? First, let me get this out of the way: This thermostat is made for electric baseboards, fan-forced and other high voltage electric heating systems. This means that you won't be able to use it with a regular low voltage HVAC system. Mine was installed in a room where my dogs can go when they get cold. It was tied in with a radiant/blower system. The installation will require a certain amount of knowledge of electrical systems and I do not recommend nor encourage anyone without a solid know-how to install it, as it will tie into a 110V circuit. If you're only going to replace an existing high voltage thermostat, just flip the correct breaker and rewire. I had to add wiring to make this work (3 wires, not too bad), so it took me a bit over an hour to make things look clean and to test the unit properly, while replacing an existing unit shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. Once the app was installed on my phone, connecting was easy and the unit worked like a charm. I ran some tests and I can only confirm that this baby gets the job done. It can be customized to your liking, remotely controlled and be added to an Alexa, Google or Apple device smart home device for extra comfort. Frankly, it's a good product and I can already tell that it will definitely save me a good amount on my electric bill. Recommended!

Another great way to have full control of devices around my home. I installed an electronic baseboard in our living room because the old gas one went out. Unfortunately, it did not come with a smart thermostat and that may be because there aren't many options for these. Luckily, I came across the opportunity to give the Mysa smart thermostat and went for it. The installation was super easy, and it even comes with electrical wire nuts to make things easier. You will need to supply your own electrical cable for installation, but that is to be expected. I ran my power from an existing power source in the room and managed to fish my cable through the wall pretty easily. The instructions for the unit itself are really easy to follow, and definitely aid in the installation of the thermostat. Once installed, follow the instructions in the app and you will be connected in no-time. It is great to finally be able to control our baseboard heater from the palm of my hands. During cold weather, we are able to look forward to coming to a warm home. The Mysa smart thermostat is great and has been working flawlessly. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

A very functional bare-bones thermostat that classes up your home with it minimalistic design. If you're like me, you don't always want a lot of busy graphics and unnecessary metrics always displaying on your thermostat screen. The Mysa Smart Thermostat only shows you the one thing you care about when you're interacting with it. The temperature. If you like metrics and the graphs and graphics that go along with them then you're in luck. The free app has all the extra configurations and metrics you could want however I found myself just connecting my Mysa account to my Alexa and have her set the temperature in my house via my voice. Setup is as easy as other smart thermostats and if you've installed one then you can do this one as well. The instructions are very good at holding your hand and making sure they're crystal clear on how to identify your type of HVAC. The build quality is fine and seems to be well-made and the aesthetics, though very minimal, might look cheap to some, but they look great to me. This is an excellent way to save a little bit on your power bill.

I'll start with saying that I really like the style, app and idea of this thermostat. I don't like the electrical design for 240v or that it's advertised for fan forced inwall units. The bad first, I know electrically it is probably fine but I don't like that it's advertised for 240v and as a 4 wire thermostat when it's actually a 3wire. Being a 3wire when it's wired to a 240v circuit it has you tie L2 together so at the heater L2 is always live. It just controls the heater by cycling the L1 on/off. I'd feel much more comfortable if it turned both live lines on and off. Also I don't see anywhere on the listing that says this is a 20amp thermostat. I'm not sure if that's 20amp 120v or 20amp at 240v, the instructions don't differentiate, probably because it's only a 3wire it doesn't matter. My inwall heater also has a fan delay to let the heating element preheat before the fan kicks on and keeps the fan running after the heater turns off to cool down the element. This thermostat does away with that. I'm sure this isn't then end of the world and I'm guessing any external thermostat would do that. The app is nice. The only gripe I have is when I switched it to F there were still several metrics showing in Celsius. Not the end of the world and an easy fix with an app update I'm sure. The rest of the app is great. It links quickly to the thermostat and has a great usage tracker. Changing the temperature is easy but I couldn't get the humidity to work. Not the end of the world as none of my other thermostats read humidity. The styling is very nice and clean. Just a gloss white rectangle with a matrix like white dot screen. In the end I like the thermostat and I'd recommend it for any baseboard heaters or 120v in wall heater. I am not going to use it for my 240v in wall heater. For the right setup I'd definitely recommend it but they need to update a few items on their listing so people know what they're purchasing.

The Mysa - Smart Programmable Wi-Fi Thermostat in white is simplicity at its finest. It's also on sale at the time of this review for 4th of July making it an even better deal! Sometimes simple is better, and that's what this is. It's not dumb-simple, but it has what's needed to still fit the modern day thermostat and replace your likely old one that still has mercury in it. We installed this at my 81 year old grandparents house to replace their 30+ year old Mercury thermostat. Nothing wrong with the prior one, it's worked all this time, but Mercury is bad for you. Installation is very easy and straight forward. Aesthetically this looks very pleasing to the eye, not only because of its build but also the way the temperature is shown along with the increase and decrease symbol, it's a nice simple look to it. The app is pretty straight forward and is a quick download. We are using it on iPhone. App is responsive and clean. I think the main consensus here is that this is reliable, looks nice, and easy to install.

I was thrilled when I realized smart thermostats could be used with electric baseboard heaters, and even more so when I found Mysa had a product I could use. The instructions were very thorough and the thermostat was quite easy to install. The diagrams were incredibly helpful! My favorite thing about this thermostat is that it is wifi connected, meaning I can control it from anywhere. Because of this, I'm much more conscientious about my electricity use, and my bills have actually lowered. I would usually set the thermostat in the morning before work and "waste" the heat on an empty house, but this is much more useful. I have it set to turn up on my way home so when I arrive, it is the perfect temperature. I also love how easy it is to use and connect to the corresponding app. An even better feature - it is completely compatible with both Alexa and Hey Google! It is pretty nice to not have to get up to change the room temperature. I really have no complaints; the product performs as expected and does its job well.

I've been using the Mysa Smart Programmable Wi-Fi Thermostat for awhile now, and I've been really happy with it. I was looking for a way to save money on my energy bill, and I was also hoping to find a thermostat that was easy to use and install. The Mysa Smart Programmable Wi-Fi Thermostat met both of those criteria. The thermostat was easy to install. I followed the instructions in the manual, and I had it up and running in about 30 minutes. The thermostat is also easy to use. The interface is simple and straightforward, and I was able to figure out how to use it without any problems. I've been using the thermostat's scheduling feature to automatically adjust the temperature in my home based on my schedule. This has helped me to save a significant amount of money on my energy bill. I've also used the thermostat's geofencing feature to automatically turn down the heat when I leave the house. This is a great way to save energy without having to remember to adjust the thermostat myself. Overall, I'm really happy with the Mysa Smart Programmable Wi-Fi Thermostat. It's helped me to save money on my energy bill, and it's also made it more convenient to control my heating system. I would definitely recommend this thermostat to anyone who is looking for a smart thermostat that is easy to use, affordable, and effective.

A few things with the Mysa programmable thermostat —- it’s specifically for electric baseboards, not just the standard furnace heating. To list some more here they are: - Easy install. I typically avoid installing any thermostats or such in my home because it is too essential to “wing it” if you’re not a professional. This was pretty simple though. - It provides energy usage reports to help you lower your heating bill, which is useful. It does scheduling and even geofencing, but these features are becoming available on almost all smart thermostats these days. - Compatible with Alexa, Google, Apple Home and all that, so it can be controlled with your voice or even the app if you’re away from home. A few cons: - The display doesn’t seem to be able to be adjusted Im for brightness or ambient lighting. This would be better. - No indicator of when the heat is actually on; this really needs to be on this display in my opinion . Please note: This is ONLY compatible with electric baseboard heaters. It will NOT work with any other heating system, and it’s expensive so don’t purchase unless you know it will work with your home. Otherwise, it is a good option for the baseboard home, and looks pretty upscale and sleek too!

I love the sleek design of this Mysa Smart Programmable wifi thermostat. Its design is sleek and modern and goes well with the asthetic in my home. The Mysa was easy to install and setup. I love that it is dogital and very easy to comprehend and work. I use it with my google assistant daily. Im am able to easily control it through the app using my phone or tablet. I have android phones & tablets. It connects to your wifi just like any other device you have. Installation didnt take us long... it does need to be ahrdwired so if you are not familiar with how to do that then i reccomend getting someone to install it for you for safety precautions. I love being able to control the thermostat from anywhere in my home or by using the touchscreen pad on the thermostat. Overall i love the Mysa thermostat for its sleep minimalist and modern design, its ease of use of being able to control it from an app from any room in my home, and for how well it works. I am hoping to see a decrease in my energy bill overtime.

Finally a smart thermostat for my sisters house!!! Her system is baseboard heating and while she has always been fine with the wall turning thermostat, this has brought her to 2023!!! It is really aesthetically pleasing, matching with her décor which was one of her big concerns. The app was easy to set up and easy to use. While her husband is a master electrician, he did have some difficulty with the installation. We ended up installing it and uninstalling it a couple of times- unsure why it did not install the first two times, but it finally did. I am sure that was an error on our part. The instructions were unclear and not robust as so many systems are different. as reported by my brother-in-law. Once hooked up the the app it ran perfect. One week later and she is now loving the set up. She appreciates its ability to set up a schedule (unlike mine that thinks it is setting itself up through AI to find a pattern and set its self up). I took 1 star off because of the issues with the install, but its is a great product!!!

Works great with my ceiling heat. It was almost literally my only choice.

No customer support. They just email you back and forth when their device stops working after a few months.
