Obs these are high voltage thermostats. Best Buy says it'll do install via Total Tech but apparently really cant (because...they can't work on high voltage thermostats apparently? The product is CLEARLY for a high voltage aetup--s). Also said they weren't able to outsource an install and that the store manager would be getting in touch with me directly--but she hasn't been so #fail overall. I realize this review doesn't actually address the product, but without the implied install covered by my Total Tech plan, I'm not going to keep them.

The instructions and app are very helping when installing and it works very well.

Finally, there is a reliable and well designed “Smart Thermostat” for high-voltage electric Baseboard and electric air-forced heaters. It works seamlessly with its own app, can be scheduled to turn itself on and off, and can be set to recognize when you are home or away. It also works with Amazon’s Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple’s HomeKit. The Mysa can easily replace the old beige dial control and is sized to fit perfectly into a standard gang box. It works with a four- wire system that can either be a 240 v or 120 v system. The thermostat does not work with a two-wire system. It is also not compatible with any 12 v to 24 v systems that have been designed for oil furnaces, natural gas furnaces or boilers. After downloading the Mysa app, I just followed the easy instructions to pair the thermostat to the app. Once paired, the thermostat automatically performed a software update. After the software was updated the app was then able to totally control the thermostat. It is important to note that the thermostat can also be controlled manually should the need arise to have to do so. Otherwise for me, it is great to just schedule the thermostat to turn the heat on 10 minutes before my morning shower and turn the baseboard heat off within 30 minutes. I also do not have the problem of accidentally leaving the baseboard heat on and leaving town for the day or weekend. If that were to happen, I can easily turn the baseboard heater off by using the app. The app also guides you through installation and if there are any differences in the installation diagrams and your actual setup, customer service is there to assist. If you do have a different situation, customer service is a little hard to get a straight answer from. This might be due to the fact that I was installing in the evenings and on the weekend. However, there is not an actual phone number to call for assistance, you just have to send an email and hope that someone in their customer service office is conscientious enough to thoroughly read your question and make an honest attempt to answer it completely and timely in order to actually help you with the install. I have had a smart thermostat for my heat pump HVAC for several years. By installing the Mysa for my bathroom baseboard electric heat, I now have complete control of setting, scheduling, and managing the control of my home’s temperature.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Was going to just swap out for a Nest like everyone else, but when I saw this I had to give it a try. We have a 30+ year old Honeywell, so replacing it with this was fantastic. We've barely even toggled with smart features, but it pretty much does smart things as is. Looking at our electricity bill for the time period used, we did notice a difference. Our big went from $400 to $219, which I'd like to believe is a combination of things + replacing our old system with the Mysa. The look and feel of it is of a quality product, without the expensive price to go along with it. Totally affordable, totally worth it.

Unable to connect to HomeKit, works fine on the mysa app. I contacted support and there answer: We are aware of this issue with some of our other users as well where Homekit will not pair or disconnect but the thermostats are still online in the Mysa app. Our team is looking into this and we'll send you an email once we have an update This was a month ago. So far no updates :(

I have a second home in North Carolina and a base heater that needed a better thermostat and it helps that it's smart. Fairly easy to install, I wasn't very difficult but if you don't have a background in electrician work be sure to get a professional. It's just a safe bet. Amazing product I totally recommend it for everyone.

We recently moved into a new (to us) house and it has a 4 season room between the house and the pool. While the rest of the house is heated by 2 forced air furnaces, the 4 season room has electric baseboard heat. When I got the chance to get this product, I jumped all over it. Start with the install... One word: Simple. It says 15minutes, it took maybe 10. Download the app, power the electric back on and you are ready to go. App is simple to use, the unit itself is clean, modern and aesthetically pleasing. Simple operation and excellent functionality. As for the app, my wife was incredibly excited to get this. She loves having her morning coffee in the room, but in order to heat it up to a comfortable level, she previously had to go turn the heat on the old thermostat up, wait 10 to 15 minutes for the room to heat up and then enjoy her coffee. Now she can grab her phone in bed, turn the heat to preferred level and by the time she has her coffee ready, so is the room. She loves it! End of the day, I would certainly recommend to a friend. **Please note, this was offered to me at reduced or no cost in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Super easy and intuitive. Homekit compatibility is a bonus. I would recommend this to anyone that can't find a thermostat (a pretty good smart one at that) for their baseboards.

Not to much out there for high voltage electric base board, works great not to hard to install if you Mechanical inclined. Saved a lot of $ when I am not home able to lower heat and raise when you am on my way home

Well worth the money! Easy to install and use! I now own 2 of them and plan on buying more the next time they go on sale. I can control any of them anywhere with my smart phone or at home with my google device.
