If you are looking to play PS5 games, especially the exclusive and first party titles then I would not recommend this. The main reason being is that this controller does not have the Adaptive Triggers that makes the DualSense so unique. But I do love this controller's agronomics and for playing PS4 games on the PS5 its perfect. You can adjust the wait of the controller and the back buttons are placed in a spot where your fingers might normally rest.

The buttons on the grips constantly get accidentally pressed. The trigger stops on some fps games stop your guns from shooting . Had high hopes as this is the only controller I could find with Hall effects sticks for the PS5. O have two PS5 dual sense controllers with extreme stick drift. Will most likely give PC gaming a shot and sell my PS5. I would get a dual sense edge but having to replace thumb stick modules every few months would get expensive

I wanted to love this controller soooo much, but the process to get it to connect to PS5 and them program the buttons, etc was just too overwhelming as no directions were really included. After an intensive search online to find directions, it requires you to set up the controller on a PC and not directly from the console. If you like Xbox controllers this one is great for you, but if you are accustomed to the PS controller layout, it will definitely take getting used to. Buttons feel great and I loved all of the customizations that you could do, but I didn't have the capacity to complete the customizations.

We bought one and my boys liked it a lot, so we ended up getting a second one after a while. The second one had uneven feeling between the joysticks so we had to take that one back. The first one is still great though. We will probably try another one when they go on sale again.

Has been a fantastic controller. Normal PS controllers with the centered sticks hurt my hands, so I’ve always preferred offset sticks. The back buttons are easy to program and it has not given me any issues. It also got rid of the annoying “reactive” trigger feedback, or whatever Sony calls it that I hated on the PS5 controller.

I love this controller! The Revolution Pro 5 is such a premium controller that I am so glad I added to my collection. The look and feel is top tier and can't be beat by anything in the market right now. The second you power it on and see the beautiful bright white light surround the right thumb stick, you will instantly be in awe of this product. My hat goes off to the design team from Nacon! I've tested it for a week now (RE 4 and FC 24) and it has replaced all my other controllers. This is a must have!

Great controller. It’s replacing my razor wolverine pro controller, which was I guess sunset a couple months ago I like the weights that you can attitude. It feels good to have a weighted controller all around excellent controller.
Buy this instead of a new Dualsense PS5 controller

Best possible controller you can use on a PS5. Comfortable, modular, easy connection. Also a great purchase if you also game on PC. Plug-and-play simplicity with hall-effect sticks make this controller actually worth your money unlike continuing to buy more Dualsense controllers that have inevitable controller drift with cheap analog sticks.
Cons -- It would be nice if the haptics/vibration still worked on this controller, but I understand that Sony won't allow this feature on non-Dualsense controllers. Therefore, it's a Sony restriction, not a lack of effort on Nacon's part. For what it's worth the haptics are great on PC.

I love everything about this controller except that it doesn't vibrate. You can customize so much on this controller, feels like better quality over a stock Sony controller.

tl;dr - good for this casual gamer
Picked this up from Best Buy (open box) as I had a $25 credit that was expiring. This is a backup to an Astro C40 (great controller but the triggers are squeaking annoyingly). This is about the same size and weight of the Astro but grateful for the USB-C connection (I mainly use it wired), There was a short learning curve as I'm used to the PS4's joysticks being thumb-controlled (vs asymmetrical) but I do see the benefit
I like the heft - this is a solidly built controller. The only minor nitpick I have is that the sound EQ, 1) doesn't seem to stay set, and 2) doesn't really sound different - I've tried the racing and the arcade setting and they sound the same to me. Other than that, a good choice especially if you're planning to upgrade from PS4 to PS5

Nacon website facilitates the customization of your controller. Not only that but you can also have different modes for different games on your controller. I’ve been using it for over a year and the sticks haven’t failed. Not stick drift.

My son wanted this for Christmas as the standard PS4 wireless controllers have a tendency to wear out quickly. He did his research and this item had what he was looking for and the longevity he desired. I was able to get it on sale, which was a bonus, and so far this controller is living up to the hype.
