Great sound love it good sound bar don’t need a stereo

Rear Surrounds are nice in atmos use sub is loud the soundbar seemed to be rather flat in any sound mode which was very annoying. The sound settings and tweaking is already too much modifying but the option to do it with individual buttons on the remote is nice. I was hoping for a better experience overall.

The sound quality appears to be good so far. It’s not the easiest to set up. The surround speakers are not wireless which is the biggest reason for the 3 stars.

Great sound at a great price. But it does cutout every so often. Not often enough that warrant return. What gets me is the rear speakers pick up something. I assume it's from the wireless.

This nakamichi is definitely a high end product. I had a few issues but tech support helped me correct them and even sent me a software update. The Atmos is gimmickry there is not an up firing speaker

I bought it for my living room and I could not be more happier. I with i would have gone with 7.2.4 but this one still rocks and I love it. If you are looking for this and have the appetite, I would suggest go for 7.2.4, but this one rocks too :)

I got this soundbar system and to be honest, I absolutely loved it! The overall sound was fantastic and at 35% of max volume I could feel the bass in my chest and the windows literally rattled. Again, I absolutely loved it. After an hour or two of testing, I noticed the sound would cut out randomly. Most of the time the sound would come right back after about 2 or 3 seconds, but it really ruined the experience and a few times the audio went out and didn't return without powering the unit off. I also had several instances where the audio became extremely distorted. If I changed it from SSE 3 to SSE 2 and then back to SSE 3, it would correct the audio issue, but again, it really ruined the experience. After 3 days of testing the soundbar out and having these persistent issues, I decided to call tech support from Nakamichi. To my surprise, they were very helpful and responsive. The support person walked me through troubleshooting to verify I had tried everything and then asked for some videos of the audio distortion that I was hearing and immediately identified that the soundbar had decoding issues. They offered to send me a new soundbar, but I was within the return policy at Best Buy, so bought a replacement and returned the original. After a few days with the new soundbar and no issues, I decided to mount everything to the wall. I was one happy customer! Flash forward one day later. My wife and I sit down at the end of the night to watch a show on Apple TV+ and in the final 2 minutes of the show - BOOM - the audio distortion happened. I honestly couldn't believe it. I immediately went to bed frustrated. I had hoped it was a fluke, so I held on to the soundbar for another day. The next day, I tested the speakers out again and the audio distortion returned again. I was extremely frustrated. All of the video I tested was via streaming services - Hulu, Apple TV+, Disney+. So, in my testing of the two units I had this is what I determined: The Nakamichi 7.1.4 Soundbar System, when working properly, is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, I am not willing to keep a unit that has audio cutting out and audio distortion issues at random. I truly wish I could have made this work because it was great. On to the Samsung - Harman Kardon 5.1.2-Channel Soundbar System with 8" Wireless Subwoofer, Model:HW-Q80RZA. Initial thoughts: No audio issues, but the bass is not anywhere close to as good as the Nakamichi and the rear speakers have to be purchased separately and they aren't as nice as the Nakamichi rear speakers either. Quite disappointing in a system that is $400 more expensive than the Nakamichi.

Great sound if it hadn't that wifi interference issue that cannot be resolved you have to live secluded without wifi or neighbors to have clear sound or the subwoofer will keep having an annoying popping sound cause the customer service solution is to change your wifi channels which didn't work cause we have neighbors with wifi even when i turn my wifi off still popping sound because of interference.

I purchase this song ball first and I only returned it because I saw the same exact company where they hire in model this model was great but I wanted to 122 subwoofers

Received a sound popping unit but after returning it I picked up a new unit and has worked great for streaming, ota channels, gaming, movies.

This is an outstanding sound system. Very much satisfied with the purchase.

Sounds incredible. I cheated though and paid someone to set it up. Very easy to use and plenty loud.

Good sound, and Dolby Atmos works well. The display is not very bright, and mine quit working on day 4. Needless to say I returned it.
