Customers praise the 7.2.4-Channel 800W Soundbar System for its exceptional sound quality, with many noting the clarity and depth of the audio. The bass, in particular, is described as deep and powerful. Setup is also said to be a breeze, making it easy for users to get started. At its price point, customers feel they are getting great value for their money.
On the downside, some users have experienced connectivity issues, with the audio occasionally cutting out. Others have had problems with the rear speakers, while a few find the infrared remote control to be limiting due to its line-of-sight requirement.

I am totally blown away by this system, literally! It was easy to set up, the remote can control everything, and the sound is amazing! The bass is chest-rattling, and the power....Wow! If I couldn't get up and go to my kitchen to get a snack, I would think I am at the theater! Well worth the money!

I bought this because it had great reviews. I have never heard of Nakmichi and I am very happy that i chose to go with this 7.2.4. The two subs really adds a new feel than your traditional one subs systems. This system is very easy to set up and the controller is different and does take time to figure out what each button does. The manual does explains what every single button does. Don't hesitate to get this system if you haven't heard of them it's sounds awesome. If you are willing to spend 1000$ for a soundbar you should look into this system.

Love this unit. Sounds amazing. I personally think the 7.2.4 is adequate for a small to medium sized room. Bass rattles the room efficiently with two subs, which I absolutely love. I personally want the best available, but held back from getting the 10” 9.2.4, which I’m glad I did. This is more than enough of a system for most ppl. Wish it has HDMI 2.1 120hz pass through, but as of writing this, no system anywhere offers it yet; which is easy to fix when you wire a hdmi directly to the TV from the appliance and then one from tv to the sound bar. Area around the hdmi inputs could have a bit more space, as they are kinda bent when you use thick 8k/10k HDMI wires.
The only downfall of this unit, the 3 sec sound delay. It’s annoying. Kinda get past it, but it does get under your skin.

I put this 7.2.4 cinema like sound system in my man cave (aka garage). The sound is crisp and powerful. I enjoy watching movies and playing console games and the immersion is ridiculous. I always wanted a decent surround system and now I finally have one. The object oriented approach of Dolby Atmos allowed by this set up is astounding. I have the bass quite low as anything above 3/10 makes me think we’re having an earthquake here in California.

My room isn't the ideal shape for the kind of surround sound this soundbar is trying to make, but the system still sounds great. You can adjust each speaker's relative volume to optimize the sound even if your room isn't perfectly square. It has brought a new level of enjoyment to watching my old movies and games in a fully immersive surround sound. Considering everything you get with this system, it is remarkably easy to set up as well.

This system packs a punch. I've gone back and forth, debating. Purchased another company speakers and then decided to try this. My gosh, this was way better. Clear voice, not like others where it's low and them a loud boom comes that you have to lower the volume. It is balance. The satellite speaker are also a great Addition, I can hear the helicopter moving on my call of duty game. Haha. Set up to the recommendation they give you and tweak from there. I haven't tweak much. Bass is obnoxiously loud, as I mentioned is all even.

I only had it for 2 and half weeks and its amazing.
Its worth the money.
I got this to replace my LG SL10RG. 7.1.2 soundbar.
The subwoofer kept cutting in and out when im watching anything on tv. i did research and found out that its not just me having those problems.
The Bakamichi 7.2.4 was cheaper and sounds amazing with those dual subwoofer and the rear speakers. Its very Immersive.

Sounds great and comes with everything needed for mounting. There was an issue with the subs popping randomly that was fixed with a firmware update, and I've had no issues since. 4 stars only because there is a bit of a learning curve to get the settings just right depending on what you're listening too. Definitely more effort than having a receiver set up that does the work for you.

Nakamichi Soundbar-Simply Amazing

I know this is not the best sounder Nakamichi has produced, but it is the best soundbar I have heard. I have my own home theatre business and I stick to the high end products to sell to my customers. I know everyone's ear is unique, so this package is not going to be everyone's favorite, but this is a product that nobody will walk away from and say "I would never consider this". I don't think the Nakamichi is going to be as user friendly as some other brands, but if you are keen on fine tuning and the process that takes, then this may be the product for you. If you have some extra money to spend, Nakamichi does make a step above this 7.2.4 and I would say go for it!

This soundbar is amazing! The ease of setup is what really impressed me. The added theater like sound in my living room is way beyond what I was expecting. The system feels very solid. I thought about the Ultra but went with this one since it was under a thousand.

I have had other sound bars with subwoofers that "simulate" surround sound by and they sound surprisingly good.
This Nakamichi system takes it to another level, however. The sense of space and immersion is truly phenomenal. I wasn't expecting this much improvement, based on hearing some of my friends systems with rear speakers. Even old black and white TV shows benefit from an improved sense of space.
The system seems to be reasonably well made and set-up was easy, with no problems pairing with the rest of my equipment.
The remote has a LOT of buttons. You won't use many of them after the initial tweaking of the system to your room.
Put me down as impressed. I find myself pulling out old movies just to experience them with this new soundbar system.

Only recently purchased so we'll see over the long haul. Setup was easy and straight forward. Sounds great(replaced a Bose AcoustaMass that was 20 years old). So far I'm pleased except for the way the rear speakers are made, strange panels(had to hang upside down and use for shelves to be happy with the look).

I wanted to upgrade from my Vizio soundbar that had a wireless subwoofer with surrounds. I thought it sounded good but I could never get the system to consistently pair together. I did some research and came across this. WOW. This thing is absolutely amazing. I didn't know the sound I was missing out on until I hooked this up. I used the blu ray that was included to hear the surround this was capable of and was blown away. I wanted to test an actual movie out so I got the 4k disc of Jurassic Park and went to the scene where we see the T Rex. I felt daring so I turned the sound bar up to 50 (out of 100). My goodness my entire house was shaking and when the T Rex roared it was a mind blowing experience. If you are looking for a great system to immerse yourself in movies, this one is a great one. I'm going back through my movie collection and experiencing them in an all new way!

This thing sounds great, but im wondering if i could have better value from discrete speakers and receiver. This soundbar includes the subs and surrounds which sound great, but it kinda defeats the purpose of a soundbar(1 speaker solution). Just think i may have been able to get more from a traditional home theater setup.

I got this Nakamichi to replace the Vizio 5.1.4 Atmos system I purchased while back. That one is going into a bedroom to replace an older system that started having issues.
I would personally recommend getting this if deciding between the two. This would probably be the way to go if deciding on a sound bar system in this price range. I cannot comment on any others as I have not tested them myself, but the price for what you are getting seems to top other options out there. The Vizio is not a bad system but the Nakamichi beats it in a few areas.
The biggest difference for me is the surround channels. The thing I want most from any surround system, especially an Atmos system, is really good surround and height effects. This system delivers that better than the Vizio.
I think the Vizio beats the Nakamichi ever so slightly on deep bass but the Nakamichi feels more balanced and even which can be attributed to having two 8”s instead of one 10” that you can place on either side of the room. That said, the Nakamichi may also go deeper if I were to play with some of the settings a little more.
And speaking of settings, the Nakamichi wins hands down. The Vizio line of soundbar systems have a terrible “dot” menu where there are a column of white lights on the soundbar that show you what is going on. For volume alone it’s not bad. If you want any other information, it’s atrocious. You have to know exactly what you are looking at to make any meaningful changes. The Vizio remote also has no backlight and limited buttons. Yes the Nakamichi remote is large but I love it. The red/orange backlight looks great and you can adjust nearly every setting with the push of a very clearly marked button. There is a button for nearly every individual channel.
The Nakamichi also has 3 HDMI inputs rather than just 1 on the Vizio. More is always better with inputs. This system is not my favorite in terms of physical designs, specifically the rear surrounds, but you don’t care when watching a movie in the dark.
