I did alot of research before buying this sound bar. And inreally thiught i made a great decsion. Ive now owned it for 6 months (bought it on black friday) and let me tell you. I very rarely write reviews. But this thing has me so aggravated. Yes it does sound great when it works. I just wish this thing would stay linked to anything! Arc, hdmi 2.0 anythingnwould be great. It worked seamlessly for the first month and in the time period i was very happy with the product. But since then it consistently disconnects from my tv. I read a lot of reviews on this and this exact issue. I really thought it was operator error or just some older people not knowing how to use it correctly. Seriously beating myself up for spending the money on something thats causing such a headache day in and day out. Hope this helps someone on deciding whether to buy this product or to move on and buy soemthing different as i should have.

Great sound! This is the sound bar to get if you aren’t going full on with surround sound. You’re sure to love it!

Great sound system to play atmos 4k movies. This is definitely worth the money.

The sound is really good, the bass is amazing, really enjoy the clarity when watching atmos movies/videos. However, since day one I have experience a clicking/poping sound coming out of the surrounding speakers randomly all the time. I have updated to the newest firmware, change HDMI cables, called and talked to customer support and have not being able to resolve my issue. At this point I'm going to exchange it and give one more try.

sound bar sounds great for movies but could be a little better for music. sub-woofers did not have quite the punch I was expecting.

It's a good product. Yes, it is expensive, but I think it worth it.

Build quality: 10/10 Audio quality: 8/10 Audio quality was excellent, but I wouldnt say it was the best I have ever heard. More than enough for any home that doesnt want to deal with "professional" levels of surround sound DealBreaker: This system cannot properly play Dolby Atmos MAT format, which is what many systems use now. This is a known issue that Nakamichi is essentially saying that it can do nothing about. I do not see this issue with other devices, and since it does not have eARC (which is admittedly pretty new) you cant use your TV to process the data for Atmos first, and so there is no way to prevent the audio-popins and outs. We didnt experience it for the first day or two. We are using an Xbox One X for our content, and the first day or two we used 4k BluRays. After that we started using Netflix and Amazon Prime for other Dolby Atmos content. Just trying to watch one movie, the audio will cut out for 4-5 seconds at a time. It completely ruins the experience. Due to this, and since Nakamichi does not seem to be working the issue, we had to return this. However, we didnt have any issues for audio that was not full dolby atmos. Absolutely fantastic sound system. One of the best theater systems for the price. I'm an older person with hearing problems and this unit delivers loud and clear sound matched only by a movie theater. Probably the best investment in a sound system I've ever made.
