Horrible sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.worst sounding premium soundbar I've ever purchased. The Samsung q90r is much better and worth the extra money.

Worth it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Theater experience from the comfort of your home. Your favorite movies will seem brand new again. Package contains everything you'll need for set up and you"ll be able to sync everything in about 15 minutes. The only drawback is that it lacks the e-arc function, which isn't a big deal.

Awesome sound system!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've thoroughly enjoyed using this sound system. It is a lot more impressive than the LG Sk10y I had previously. Bass really shakes the room with dual subwoofers and fills it completely! The biggest improvement I've noticed is the volume of the center channel over my old soundbar.

Can't recommend it enough
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched for months before I bought this home theatre. I started with considering a cheap Vizio 5.1 system but quickly realized that I was looking for quality and price was going to be secondary. Then I started looking into some international brands(bose, samsung, etc.) higher end systems that costed upwards of $2500-$3500 and quickly realized that I was looking for price & quality and brand was going to be secondary. Then I found this sound bar and oh man oh man. This is the best of all words. I'm not kidding. You won't understand what two subwoofers can do your house until you get them. They provide, `complete` bass, it's hard to explain in words. Secondly, even though my room isn't big enough to properly use 4 satellite speakers, I still bit the bullet and bought the 9.2 instead of 7.2, and I don't regret it. The 'surround' part of the sound is just too amazing with 9.2. Although, you gotta use blueray movies to actually understand what it's capable of. Netflix etc on your smartTV only provide 5.1 channels while blueray can provide more details. Anyway, all I can suggest is try it out. You will be amazed. And go for the 9.2, it's worth it.

Awesome soundbar system, highly recommend!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Soundbar system is Awesome!!!! It was easy to hook up, I did it in about 30 minutes. It comes with a sample disc of sounds, blew me away. I replaced a Sony system with this, so happy I did. The Dolby Atmos is amazing. I highly recommend the Nakamichi 9.2.4, buy it, you'll be happy you did!

Definitely a believer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I have always been of the mindset that I needed a big standalone high dollar receiver and then separate components. I've been through a lot of systems, but in my new house I was looking for something a little easier to install, and a giant black receiver didn't fit the beach theme very well, so I started looking into soundbar systems. Once I saw this one was rated best soundbar system in the world, I decided I needed it, even though the price tag is beyond what I was looking to spend. Yada yada yada, its WELL WORTH IT! It was so easy to install, easy to setup, software is regularly updated, it looks elegant yet simplistic, and sounds amazing. Dont think about it, buy it, you wont go back to the over-sized chunky systems.

Perfect for home use.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from my 2017 LG soundbar. Nothing wrong with it but I wanted rear channel surround sound. More importantly I wanted DTS:X which my LG soundbar couldn’t decode. The nakamichi 9.2.4 accept all audio formats, including UHD Atmos and DTS:X. And has 3 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI arc. Setup is simple. I currently have my PS4 pro, blu ray player, Apple4ktv, and PC connected. Everything is connected to my OLED via arc. I just love knowing rear speakers are wireless. Sub woofers are quite large but it doesn’t affect my seating setup. The remote control is just great. I love being able to adjust volume levels for each speakers and subwoofer. The user manual is simple to read. Overall, Welcome back Nakamichi! Iam forever a fan.

I love this thing!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do a lot of research before buying. I looked over Samsung, LG, Sony, and this was the best I couldve asked for. The design. . . Beautiful. The sound. . . Rich and clear. I have this as my bedroom unit and my roommate hates it because it gets loud and it's full of base. I strongly suggest this product!

Best surround sound system I have ever used
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to have a large 5.1 surround sound but decided to downsize and use a soundbar. My 1st purchases from other companies did not satisfy. I upgraded to this 9.2.4 system and have really enjoyed it since. There is more power than I could use in my townhome (neighbors won't like it turned up over 30/100) But the immersiveness is excellent at any volume over 20/100. The system is incredibly easy to install and very easy to use. I love the remote and how it can individually control each set of speakers (sub, center, sides, and backs) This system pairs really well with a nice 85" 4 K TV and has helped me enjoy even older movies at a new level. Highly recommend this system.

Tough price to beat
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tough price to beat. After years on the market, finally found the most bang for your buck. Can easily compete with the 5k+ systems, at a fraction of the cost. Bass sounds amazing, treble is crisp, paired with the Atmos experience, really emerges you in the sound.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased a Nakamichi shockwafe sound bar. Love the quick set up, the easy customization the quality of the sound and the volume .. it is clear I did not realize my son could hear it on the other side if the house even though he was playing video games with really expensive noise cancellation head phones. great purchase would recommend it and would buy it again.

It’s like being in a movie theater!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding performance with powerful bass, clear mids and highs. This system gives me new appreciation of having clear and crisp dialogues in movies in addition to having a powerful bass. The surround sound is immersive as exptected. Before I bought this system, I had to returned a brand name soundbar I purchased based on reading many positive reviews especially its bass. However it was dismal when it comes to mids where movie dialogues lie. I honestly thought I was having hearing problem because I couldn’t make out dialogues in movies especially during loud explosion scenes. I’m happy traded that soundbar out with the nakamichi. I know you probably haven’t heard of the brand but they have been in business for years. You wont be disappointed.

Easy Setup and nice Surround sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the easy setup of the system. The 2 subwoofers add magic to the sound. I had a Sonos sound bar which was good but expensive for a similar arrangement. I returned the Sonos and Nakamichi is worth it.

Worth every penny (and they cost a LOT of pennies)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very skeptical buying a soundbar system for what I thought was over priced. I was wrong. I have a theater room set in my basement. The sound is clear and crisp with bass that can be too much (a thing I didn't believe was possible). You can turn the bass up to 10, but mine is set to 7. The subwoofers are connected wirelessly to the soundbar. The front and rear speakers are connected by wire to the subs. There has been a couple times where there has been some type of interference and the sound on the "wireless" speakers was distorted. It was fixed by turning the subs off and back on. All things considered I believe I made a great purchasing decision for my needs and I am very happy.

Best Sound Bar if you have the space!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sound bar kicks butt! The two subs make music and movies go off with a boom! If your wife or girlfriend is okay, you would need to get two pairs of speaker stands to create a surround sound around your living room. This means you'd have 4 speakers on 4 poles all over you. The sub is also pretty big, but its relatively easy to hide compared to the 4 speakers. I found music listening to not be as good as a two channel hi end hifi setup (EX. my Klipsch RF7III). Other than that, I noticed it does sound better if you listen to it a little louder. At lower volumes it might sound less full. The remote/system has a bunch of settings and you need to be patient and listen through each mode to find the sound you want that fits your room. Once you're all dialed in, YES, this system blows many systems away... Overkill in a good way.

Great soundbar with earth shaking Bass !!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did lot of research to buy a sound bar.I tried Lg ,Samsung,Vizio atmos soundbars. But not satisfied with them.So when i'm checking for best atmos sound bars i came to know about Nakamichi - Shockwafe 9.2.4-Channel 1000W Soundbar System with Dual 10" Wireless Subwoofers and Dolby Atmos soundbar.Initially i thought of just trying it.But after hearing the sound i was just blown away. I've connected amazon fire tv stick 4k to the soundbar to get the atmos output.I've watched Jack Ryan & Aquaman. When i'm watching aquaman bluray version i was simply amazed with the sound.Dual sub woofers will blow mind for sure.If you in a market to buy a atmos soundbar just try this one.You will never regret.

This system really rocks!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over the years I have had various sound systems from Bose, Onkyo, Klipsch, etc, in three different homes. I've grown weary of the expense and fine-tuning high-end stuff. I just bought a 77" LG OLED gallery and I started looking for some pretty good sound without a lot of hassle. I heard out the Nakamichi 9.2.4 1000W. The two subwoofers rock the house. The set-up was simple compared to other more exotic systems I have had. This system gives you much more bang for your buck. I highly recommend this system to anyone wants to get a movie theater feel.
