I ordered a remanufactured system and was a little sceptical. The system came in and it looked brand new. It was easy to install and I was up and running in 30 minutes. The system sounds awesome and I would highly recommend. I am very happy with my purchase.

I went from a wired system (Onkyo) to this wireless system and couldn't be more happy with the surround sound quality. I can fully recommend this system to anyone in the market for a new surround sound. Dolby Atmos adds a new dimension for the listener's pleasure. Good job Nakamichi,

I have been very happy with the sound of my Nakamichi 9.2 soundbar system. It transcodes just about any format and the dual subwoofers are a must. If you are looking for a soundbar system under $1000, you will not find one better than this. Oh, and the installation was super easy as well.

I've been a bose sound system user for 17 years, it was good and solid, but I needed a sound system that I have pure theater sound, So I Purchased Nachamichi Shockwave 9.2.4, Oh man I did not regret it, the Dolby atmos is insane, my 85 inch sony X900h TV, with this sound, I have theater experience and safe!!!

I previously had the Samsung hwk950 and while it sounded good there is no comparison with this. For the price it's an insane value. Plus now I have Dolby vision and Atmos! Customer service is too notch as well. I had an issue with the sub cutting out and they got back to me quick and had me change my wifi channel and it worked.

If you have the right sized room, this can really change your home theater experience. It took some tweaking and patience but the sound is next level once you get it right. Plus, the bass will shake your insides if you want it to!

Had this for a few months now. Upgrading from a simple 5.1 system to this was a little more of a learning curve, but it was worth it. The dual wireless subs make a world of a difference. The only down side is I have it set up with my Harmony Hub for voice control, and it always seems to 'forget' the volume commands.

There is nothing to dislike about this sound bar, this thing is a beast love the double bass and the clarity of the sound bar. Im looking to purchase another one for my man cave, this system is amazing love it i highly recommend this sound bar system.

I started with the Onn Soundbar from Wally World, which was completely lacking in power and oomph. Decided to splurge and go with the dual sub 9.2.4 Shockwave and SO GLAD I did that. The volume is loud yet clear and the subs get to your insides nicely.

This system is awesome!!!! Huge bass, ultra clear mids and highs!!! It feels like your there with the full surround you can feel the vibrations of the cars rumbling around you, the explosions feel like your right there in the action !!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

I really enjoy the Nakamichi system. Easy to set up, everything works right out of the box. The sound is clear and powerful. I also appreciate different sound settings such as Movie or Clear Voice, depending on what I am watching. Highly recommended!

Awesome soundbar set up since it comes with rear speakers and surround speakers, but as for the sound quality for music, it wasn't that great. Bass is awesome since it comes with 2 subwoofers, so that was nice to have, especially since I love feeling the bass in the music I listen too, but it was lacking clarity. I do have to give it credit for making movies sound awesome, just sometimes the voice would sound a bit low but still a very emmersive experience watching movies. Also another thing that I think people should know is that the rear and surround speakers feel very cheap, and the wiring that goes from the subs to the speakers are really thin and make me feel like it must not be sending the best audio quality. Also I had a popping sound on one of my rear speakers maybe only happening like twice while watching a movie.. I bought it for 950 dollars and I don't think people should pay more for it, just wait until it goes on sale. Overall, I returned it and got the Sony ht-st5000

I bought the Shockwafe 9.2.4 about two months ago. It is incredible. The set-up was easy, the four surround speakers sound great, and the front soundbar is very clear with dialog not being drowned out. If I could do it all over again, I would buy it again.

No issues with wifi interference or connection. Have had the 7.1.4 for a year and decided to upgrade to the 9.2.4 which is a big step up. Going from 35hz low end(7.1.4) to 30hz(9.2.4) with subs is noticeable. More punch and chest thump with the 10" subs opposed to the 8" sub's "boominess." More immersion now with side surround channels going to two of four satellite speakers as opposed to being channeled from the bar itself. Almost too warm of a sound profile from the bar itself since there is no tweeter in the front soundstage(LCR). Tweeters in the bar are on sides and used for wide dispersion. This system is VERY good and as close to receiver/speaker setup you can get from a soundbar. I use it strictly for movies whether streaming or physical and it is a movie monster.

Besides conveying the realistic three-dimensional feeling that the helicopters are flying right above me, this soundbar now doubles as my main music system. The "Music" setting provides superbly accurate sound. I had worried that its 1,000-watt output would sound too loud, particularly from the satellite speakers. Instead, it delivers outstanding clarity, even at the lowest volumes. The "Movie" setting improves dialogue clarity, as well as providing more punch. This is an improvement of a couple of orders of magnitude from my previous soundbar. It was definitely worth the investment.

It took a long time to finally break down and get rid of my surround sound system, replacing it with a sound bar. I ordered the 9.2 system on accident, thinking I ordered the 7.2, but I gave myself the best present I could have asked for; The Shockwafe 9.2.4. The immersion in sound is incredible. I began with the rear speakers in dipole, which offered great sound, but once setting it up properly, the sound is a complete sphere. Any family room would be made complete with this sound bar! Give your TV the sound it needs to become a real home theater, or let your family connect and play music over a killer sound system. Even if you read reviews and blogs saying no sound bar can match the quality of a surround sound system, they have never heard the Shockwafe 9.2.4. This system is so good I have ordered two 7.1 systems for family members, which also sound excellent, if you don’t have the budget for this masterpiece!

This system is great for movies or music, you will have to do some adjusting to get it to your preference but once you do it is on point. It has plenty of bass to shake the walls. I am glad I purchased this system over a high end soundbar alone.

Product is very well made, and sound is excellent. The dual subs are a game-changer if you have never experienced a home theater sound system with more than one sub. Really enjoying the product so far.
