I'm very satisfied overall with this set. This sound bar set is nearly as good as an actual professional Surround system, and for half the price too. Watching films is very immersive, especially in Atmos mode. The two subwoofers definitely makes a big difference in quality My only real complaint is the crappy remote. It stopped working after just one month of use. I have ordered a replacement remote, and hopefully it will work properly this time. Still, a minor bummer that prevents me from giving this otherwise excellent set 5 stars.

Great sound from a nice system. I have enjoyed the surround sound that this system provides. Plus the inputs are all HDMI, so it's an easy hookup. I can't wait to watch more action movies for the deep bass, but the center speaker is strong enough to get the dialogue out! Would definitely recommend.

Great sounding system when everything is working properly. Sound bar by itself is decent, but with the added side and rear speakers really give you an immersive experience. If you like boomy clean Bass then this is for you. I keep mine slightly above midway. The first model I received had issues (possibly firmware) from random loud popping noise, to the unit randomly not playing sound. For the amount it cost it is worth it to get the warranty. The second unit I got does pretty well without any major issues except the need for me to turn it off and on again from time to time. If I am listening to movies in my home with Dolby I would pick this unit every time out of any of the current sound bars in its price range ! If I’m mainly only listening to music, I possibly would give the edge to the Top of the line Samsung (950).

Has excellant sound and easy to set up. 2 subs is a bonus eliminating wiring to rear speakers, although rear speakers are wired to subs. Makes for good sound distribution.

I've tried the high-end Sony, Samsung Q90, Bose, and even the Klipsch. This was the most impressive surround sound system I've ever tried and loved it! There are many ways you can set this system up to find your best sound preference for your room ( vertical effects, centric mode, hybrid 360 with vertical effects, dipole surround, etc...) The bass is most impressive! It has two powerful subs on each side of the room. For the price, this system cannot be beat!

Best soundbar set up you can have

This is by far the BEST soundbar system you can own. In my mind, rivals or bests any home theater solution. Blows my new Samsung and Bose bar setups out of the water. Will easily handle any home theater scenario and all at a lower cost than getting a comparable Klipsch theater system. Personally I think sounds as good too, plus SO easy to set up. Plenty of speaker wire on each surround speaker to accommodate running wire thru the walls. Dual subwoofers are THE way to go! House shaking bass that is clear. The center channel gives perfect vocals and dialog that is easily heard at any volume. Don't hesitate if this type of set up is what you are considering. It can't be beat!

Let me start off by saying, all you have to do is try it. If your not satisfied with the product Best Buy will let you return it...no questions ask, so don’t really over think, because your really not loosing money, if you can get it back. Now, please believe the comments on this product. It will literally BLOW you away, it’s crazy how this system sounds!!!! Especially watching action movies like Aquaman, Bad Boys, Transporter and TRANSFORMERS! Trust and believe, you’ll feel it in your heart. But it goes extremely well when everything else, it adds everything that’s missing.

These are just flawless. I don’t have words to describe how these sound. Bass is heavy, punchy and clean, surround speakers are sharp and clear and they work just perfect. It is an all-round sound bar: for movies and music. This is my very first time writing a review on a purchase I’ve made. Worth more than the listed price.

By far one of the best sound systems on the market to date. You are getting something on par with 3-6k set ups but for far less which alone makes this Dolby Atmos set up so very valuable and worth while. You will not regret purchasing this sound bar. Setting up can take an hour or less but configuration is another story. Not difficult, but it does take some getting used to and patience to find what sounds perfect depending on what your doing (movies, games, music, etc) otherwise highly suggest getting speaker stands that can conceal cords as there are alot of them for the rear speakers unfortunately. Overall, 5/5 for sound quality and value alone!

I have had this sound bar for almost 2 years now and it still blows me away with how well it sounds and works. I have used it just about everyday and still sounds great. The two subwoofers really boost the bass compared to other sound bars in the price range. It does take slight adjustments to find what sounds good for you but that usually doesn’t take long to figure out. You can adjust the volume of every speaker, the dialogue levels and bass levels. Lots of configurations which is also nice to try out and see what sounds best.

After having the system up and running for a few months I have to say that I'm very happy with my purchase. I've had many surround systems over the years and this is the most natural sounding configuration I've ever owned!

This sounds amazing. I had it hooked up and watched a few hours of movies with it. Music sounds great. Surround sounded awesome. The wireless subwoofers are a great solution. The subwoofers are about the size of 5 gallon buckets. They are attractive but hard to make invisible. If you are watching just a movie from a streaming service, a video game or DVD it will sound amazing like you are in a theater: crystal clear sound at about 100 db (too loud to talk over) and could probably go even louder. The downside is that this thing has 1000 watts with no way to "limit" the sound. If you are watching a movie on regular TV with the volume set to hear the dialog the commercials will BLOW YOU OUT THE DOOR! I had to return it for this reason alone. It is not a fault of the soundbar, it is the fault of the broadcast TV stations. If you watch a lot of cable TV, this might not be a good fit for you. We returned it and got a small Sonos, which sounds nice but after a few hours experiencing the Nakamichi I don't even have much interest in watching movies on that set. If I ever get a dedicated theater room where volume was not an issue I would strongly consider buying this again.

So I bought into the hype and this soundbar is bar far the BEST SOUNDBAR I ever purchased BUT.......I feel it truly isnt as virtual SURROUND as people say it is? My friends all say it is truly awesome and i must admit it does amplify and clarify certain sounds i never caught before on my old movies i rewatched. The demo it came with blew me out the water and im currently playing resident evil 2 remake on my x box one x and the hdmi is connected to my nakamichi soundbar and I swear on my life I hear zombies ALL AROUND ME! Its a pretty enjoyable experience! Like I said its PRETTY Good but not like OH MY GOD GOOD! I guess it depends what movies or games you are playing on it? I play alot of dolby atmos and it gives the movie more lifelike sounds but i hate the fact that I have to move the back speakers close to me to get that TRUE TRUE DOLBY ATMOS SOUND QUALITY -_- Oh well beggars cant be choosers? Ill just use this in the meantime till i save up to buy a true Surround sound Setup and not a Surround SoundBAR. Ill give it a 8 out of 10. Maybe a low 9?

When purchased I was a little skeptical about this system replacing my current setup, Def Tec towers and 500 watt Pioneer, however the Nakamichi blew away any buyers remorse. The Nak sounds superb, the highs, lows , mids are nicely tuned, providing excellent sound spacing with thunderous bass. Music sounds amazing and movies are breathtaking, gaming experience majorly enhanced. All I can say is, go to Best Buy and grab this system, you won’t regret it.

Ok this system really bring soundbars to a new level, ive seen the really big bulky soundbar systems but what you get and for the price of this system…buy this one. Filled up my large living room with all the sounds and bass. Only downside is you cant fine tune the speakers, just turn the volume up or down on them. Otherwise Awesome. Very pleased

After much research I decided to buy this sound bar because of the versatility with the dual subwoofers and the multi channels. I hooked it all up I did not have any problems at all with operating it the problem I did have was with the sound bar center channel, the sound reproduction sounded like it was coming from inside a box. So I contacted Nakamichi about this issue they walked me through some troubleshooting steps to see if the center channel sound production could get any better but sadly it could not. Nakamichi recommended that I return the sound bar for another one with the guarantee that it’s probably a blown driver . The surroundsound production with the two subwoofers was really good the subwoofers are big and hard to place in my living room which is a 20 x 20 room. The surround speakers are very large and bulky but I like that you could put them together as a dipole which eliminated having to run more wires. In the end I decided to return this because I didn’t want to go throughThe exchange from Nakamichi in case the sound production was the same. I hope this helps I looked into other sound bars as well the Samsung equivalent to the sound bar is close but still lax the performance I’m looking for. My next stop is the big boy.

I have a fairly large living room with vaulted ceilings and have been struggling to find the right setup. I have had sound bars and full systems with receivers. This is by far my favorite so far. It fills my room with sound and crisp clean vocals, no more struggling to hear what was said. It’s extremely easy to setup and use, I can tell why they were voted number 1. Go ahead and buy you won’t be disappointed
