I have owned Nakamichi products since the 1970's from the 1000 tape deck to the Dragon and car radios. I installed this EASILY MYSELF, I am 63. It was easy to start up and I enjoy it daily

Very nice sound and sub is work very great. Excellent quality

Excellent system for a simple 7.2/9.2 setup. Initial setup had some issues with cracking in the wireless subs but a quick channel finder scan for my router fixed that problem. Only thing I'd like is the IR code so I can control my soundbar with my xbox and not have to use arc from my less than perfect projector but it's better than nothing.

good looking and true sound provides a great theater experience at home. I dont like the wires that are needed for each speaker but oh well

Great the surround sound and easy to use worth the money.

This system is fabulous, two subwoofers you will be amazed what a difference covering the entire room. The satellite speakers running off the subwoofers make movies incredible sound experience. The box that everything comes in is packed great, you will not be disappointed with this sound bar system.

Awesome product!!! While watching movies I feel I am in the middle of the action. I am glad I decided to go with this item and not a simple bar. You won't regret it.

I wasn’t sure whether I would purchase the nakamichi because of the price and no one had a display to hear how it sounded or looked. But I took a chance . What an amazing sound this thing has. The quality is top notch. I am happy that I took the risk of purchasing this sound system.

The soundbar has been great! The quality in surround sound is what u expect for the price. Reason 4/5 stars is because there is a two second delay and, a popping sound comes and goes so randomly havent been able determine why. So far known causes are wifi interference ( makes sense someones always on their fun) and powering might be low due to old house currently living in. Reached out customer service and Nakamichi been handling it professionally.

So I waited almost a year to write this review - I should have just returned it from day one. Almost immediately we had issues with what we suspected had to do with turning off the TV via the Comcast remote. The sound bar would just cycle and power off when we powered off via the cable remote and would try to turn everything back on. Sometimes it can take 20 mins to get it out of this death spiral of strange power cycling. The sound bar remote doesn’t work most the time to power on the unit and sometimes even the power button won’t work on the sound bar itself. Again thinking we had done something wrong powering off via the Samsung TV remote seemed to resolve the issue most times until recently . The last few months if we go to watch another channel or start a on demand movie or watch something on our DVR the sound wont work which than requires power cycling of components in hopes to get the sound back. Sound is awesome if I can get the unit to stay connected and to power up but for the cost of this unit the hassle is not worth the price tag.

Spent several weeks watching reviews regarding best soundbars and best home theater sets, I felt comfortable in choosing the Nakamichi Shockwafe 9.2.4 system. I've previously owned a Nak reel-to-reel and dual cassette tape system back in the 80's and I'm happy to say their quality is still top-notch!

Puts you in a sonic cacoon of beauty and realism that makes you wanna stay there for a long vist.

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to with this one! My mouth dropped!! Cannot believe how good it sounds with two 10”subwoofers makes a big difference. If you’re looking for a sound bar and you can afford the 9.2.4 it’s worth the money!

Great system, sounds awesome, had a standard single sound bar, without surround, it did not even come close. Quality of the Nakamichi is excellent and their Ninja support group is awesome! Highly recommend.

Nakamichi ultra 9.2 SSE Unbelievable sound!!!! I am not disappointed with my purchase, it out performs the belief. True sound, True Surround great bass. Sound is so clear with voices and bass when necessary. I will purchase again. No regrets.

This Nakamichi - Shockwafe 9.2.4-Channel sound system is the best on the market (in my opinion). it'll blow you walls in with realistic surround sound and bass. i just love it and it was worth every penny!
