Loving this monster of a sound system! Had the previous SSE model and gave that away for this upgrade. Performance for movies and music really improved immensely, much clearer dialog and MORE details can be heard. I rewatched my all time favorites like LOTR, edge of tomorrow, jurassic park and WOW, Im blown away with the surround effects and greater than ever bass that vibrates my whole living room. Love the new remote control too, the big buttons are perfect for my poor eyesight. Called customer support for some setup advice and they were extremely patient and helpful. Im sold. Couldnt be happier with my purchase!

I got the Upgrade from the original 9.2.4 and I definitely am telling all owners to upgrade its worth it and you gone hear it immediately…… But set it up completely meaning features before judging I set mine to 150hrz and put everything on Auto I got my treble all the way up and the surrounding speakers on 8 the subwoofer is so powerful I have it on 5 because it’s bass coming from all the speakers this time so to get better dialog set it to 5and everything will be clear …. Trust me !!!! I tried to upload my set up but it’s not working I’ll try again later ….. this is a MUST BUY !!!!!

Big clear sound with a small footprint. I'm used to tons of wires to hide and large speakers, the shockwafe has almost no wires for a clean setup. Lots of features but could be easier to use. An on-screen display on the TV or an app with a UI would be great, as it is the little blue screen on the sound bar is all you get. I'm impressed overall.

All I can say is wow… coming from the 9.2.4 system which was already a beast, Nakamichi has outdone themselves again. The sound is so crisp, clear, the bass, I could go on and on about. You feel like your at the movies, everything I have watched is on another level. The bass hits so low, it feels ultra lifelike, super accurate, it’s packing the best subs I’ve ever heard outside of a Dolby movie theater…. Don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed…I’m willing to bet once Rtings reviews this model, they’ll be hard to find… get it while you can…

Excellent purchase! No need to run to the theater when you have the theater at home! It even has settings to better fit your room, big or very small. My favorite features are the bass and the ultra convenient sound mix controls on the remote!

I had the previous Shockwafe 9.2.4 soundbar system and loved it! However, it did have some flaws that I worked around a bit. Music was not ideal on the previous version. The surround sound was! When I saw Nakamichi had released a new version I immediately checked out reviews and what all was updated. Then they dropped the price. I bought immediately and all I can say is this is the absolute best soundbar system for the price, quality, technology and surround sound. They increased power, 100% better music play, added new Bluetooth, earc, better algorithms for listening and more. The only soundbar system with 2 subwoofers and unbelievable sound. Others will be touted on their brand versus being a better system. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent product sound quality have my Nakamichi shockwave 9.2.4 hooked up to my LGOLED C2 if you’re wondering about the sound quality don’t hesitate pull the trigger. Definitely an upgrade from my Vizio elevate p series. Doesn’t even compare on sound if you want Home Theater quality sound go with the Nakamichi definitely has a lot of head room on volume if needed. Super loud base sounds really good. Just hope Best Buy will eventually get the Nakamichi dragon 11.4.6 will definitely upgrade sounds amazing in my theater.

Best soundbar on the planet! I wouldn't change it for any other soundbar on the market. Got both 9.2.4 systems and I can not be happier about them.

One of the best surround sound systems I've ever had and heard. Me being a dj I've heard alot of high end system. But this one to me rivals bose lifestyle 600 and 650 along with klipch. Infiniti and b&w

The system was easy to set up and sounds great. This is definitely a great deal for the cost.

Have had the system for about 3 weeks. So far so good. Everything seems to work. Have had to reset a couple of times when the sound shut down (not sure of the reason). Sound quality is very good with the right system settings and a proper placement of speakers. Subwoofers seem to produce strong and clean bass. Still studying the manual to understand all the possible settings. Soundbar and speakers are quite attractive if simple plain black works well with your decor. Check the equipment dimensions before buying.

Nachamichi home theater, I am very pleased with sound quality and its capability . I will share that up on setting it up discovered a dent in one of subwoofer. Overall excellent sound quality

Sounds great, easy setup and many options based on room side and setup! I forget it’s there and then like someone is making that noise and have to turn off a game or show to make sure it isn’t coming from the other room or outside. Would recommend again and again.

Great sounding. Movies feel different from my older system. A lot of customization options. My 1 want for this system is a phone app.

The Nakamichi-Shockwafe 9.2.Ch 1300W Soundbar System has the best sound of any system I have ever heard. The bass makes the house rock. I would recommend this system to everyone who loves movie theater sound in their home!

This is best sound system I have ever owned!!! I also have the Shockwafe 7.2.1 SSE Elite, but the new 9.2.4 with EARC is just amazing. You can really feel the bass on this system and the overall performance is outstanding. The EARC feature comes handy when you have a TV with the same feature. Very happy buyer!!!
