As a first time parent, this thing delivers great peace of mind. Great image quality and perfect for use with any device u can think of. Our favorite was the iPad Pro right on the night stand while we slept.

This has been a great monitor. It is quick to notify us if there is movement or noise. I really like that we get a snapshot of how each night goes after the baby wakes up in the morning.

So I have been testing out the Nanit Complete Baby Monitoring System Bundle for almost a month now and I am really enjoying it. It gives me peace of mind as I am a parent who likes to be in control of every aspect of my newborn. The package includes the Nanit Plus camera with wall mount and cable management, very good idea that keeps small hands away from wires. It also comes with a multi-stand that you can use with the camera as a nanny came or take it with you to use in a different room or travel. It also comes with a breathing band and swaddle that you can wrap around your baby to track breathing motion. The Nanit complete kit comes with many features as well. The camera has temperature and humidity sensors, smart sounds and motion notifications, two way audio and backgroud audio as well, built in night light on the back side of the camera, HD vidoe and night vision and zoom. Although a subscription is not required to operate the Nanit you can still view live feeds and get live notifications there is also something called Nanit Insights that you get free for a year and it gives you a host of other features including cloud storage, sleep trends, personalized sleep tips, nightly highlight reel, sleep tracking. Insights subscription services start at $5/month i believe. I really like that this camera mounts off the wall and gives you a top view of your child, every other monitor I have ever owned just sits off a stand, this way you can get the best unobstructed view of your child. If you're like me you are always wondering if your newborn is breathing, with the breathing band it has patterns on the wrap that the camera monitors to track breathing and if for some reason baby stops breathing you will get an alert on your phone. This brings me to the app, most baby monitors have you carry a separate device around the house, well with the Nanit your phone is your monitoring device that you always have with you anyways. The app is very user friendly and intuitive. It has graphs and charts that are easy to understand. I would highly recommend the Nanit Complete Baby Monitoring System Bundle to any one who is looking for their first baby monitor or looking to upgrade.

This is the second Nanit product I've ownedstarting with the Nanit Plus Monitor. I loved the first monitor and I feel the exact same way about this monitor bundle. I've tried several monitors from video monitors, smart security cameras, and old school audio only monitors and not come anywhere close to what Nanit offers. Between the Incredible camera and the amazing app, there isn't quite anything like it. And now with the addition of the magic swaddle and wrap that allows you to monitor breathing, this monitoring system covers all the bases. The camera:: The camera shoots the best quality video I've seen on any baby monitor. The camera can be mounted above the crib with the included wall mount or on the included multi-stand to put where ever you need it. Each stand has its own power cord and the camera can easily be switched between the two stands. The multi-stand really is a nice addition for using this monitor while traveling. The night vision on the camera works great and you can clearly see every movement and facial expression. The two way talk feature works great, it doesn’t distort your voice at all. The night light works well and shines pointing up so it’s not right in the babies face. The app:: There are serious smarts packed in this app. It allows all the normal monitor functions, including background monitoring. It also features Nanit Insights which give you insights into how well your baby is sleeping. The app also uses the included swaddle or wrap to track your babies breathing. I was really impressed how well it worked, given that there are no electronics in the swaddle or wrap. It tracked my babies breathing all night and let me know exactly how many breaths she was taking. It will also alert you if your baby stops breathing, which is a great function. This works in the wall and multi-stand. You get 1 year free insights with purchase and it’s $5 after that. (The breathing tracking is included free). What I don’t like:: There are very few things I don’t like: - you can’t listen to two monitors at the same time. - Insights doesn’t work with the multi-stand Overall this is the best baby monitor on the market, you won’t be disappointed.

Monitors breathing motion and movement via the swaddle/band combination and camera. A really nice feature is the breaths per minute which after a few weeks you start to acclimate to your child's patterns and not freak out over every little hiccup (for lack of a better term). The swaddle/band also registers once sleep has actually initiated and sends a notification with timestamp saying "hey Mom/Dad, I fell asleep x minutes ago" -- nice feature so you are aware of the specifics as to when your child finally stopped trying to fight it's way out of the swaddle. :) Speaking of the app, it's nicely laid out and is very intuitive not to mention the notifications can be turned up nice and loud in order to wake us parents up when necessary. Camera quality is top-notch as is sound. The only thing I really don't like is that some of the features are part of the 1-year subscription, but anymore that's a given. I'm simply not a fan of anything that requires an annual subscription; just let us pay something and be done with it, at least offer a lifetime plan that's more (but still a deal compared to the annual payment nonsense). Anyway, that's just me splitting hairs. Everything else about the Nanit Complete Kit is stellar, so if that subscription in a year's time is all I have to complain about, so be it. The items/features that are part of the subscription might be worth it to some after 12 months, but it's really (from what I can tell) more about the data/analytics concerning sleep patterns, duration, how long did it take for them to fall asleep, etc etc etc. That's more important during that initial 12 months, but once that period is over I'm not so sure you *need* all that information going forward. Now, if your child has sleep issues, is tossing/turning, or you just really like numbers and are a data fiend, by all means this is for you. We only have the one, so it isn't something I was able to try out, but from reading and messing with the app I see you can have multiple setups if you have more than one child and flip between their cameras/swaddle/band information. Nice that it's able to do that for those with multiple youngsters. Also worth noting; installation was extremely straight forward and took ~10 minutes to get everything mounted and wires hidden. Very nearly plug n' play (aside from connecting it all to wifi and the app) in terms of ease. Any yes; you can raise a child without all the tech and gadgets just like the generations before us did. But, why would you want to risk some of the things that they faced when there are devices out there like *this* that help give you that peace of mind when you're in the other room or are asleep in the middle of the night? Or if you are in the bathroom or even just fall asleep yourself (those notifications can be tied to alarms so they're nice and loud!) Easy recommendation for anyone with a newborn on their hands.
