We've had a day or so to play with the system and I must say so far we are loving it. We currently have a home security system that has cameras so we're used to cameras being around the home as well as how they operate. This system was super easy to set up & signing up for the 1 year of Nanit Insights was great. We really love having the ability to monitor 7 days worth of data. The small touches on this make it stand out to us. I work in the Information Technology field and one of the things I am known for is obsessive cable management. The fact that this product includes it was a huge plus for me. We are also getting insight in to my home in that this system has a humidity sensor. Again, a small touch that is super appreciated. We are going to be speaking with our pediatrician to see what levels are acceptable for a small child as well as to see what temperature we should have his room set for. Right now based on the temperature from the system (and verified by a second thermometer which I know to be accurate) the room is staying around 72 to 73 degrees. Again, we'll be asking our pediatrician what is a good temp for the room for our child. I would have never really thought about the humidity level or the room temperature had it not been for this product. Being a parent is a huge undertaking and an utter joy. With this system and its load of features I feel more at ease. I honestly don't know how my parents did it with what is essentially a one way radio. Being able to log in on my phone and check on our child who is a light sleeper and who wakes up to our footsteps or the slightest noise is a huge plus. The nightlight function is great! He seems to not mind it and it really helps us to get a clear view with the camera. Also what I like is the ability to listen in while I work. There are times were I have to work from home so having this app on my phone and being able to listen in with the app in the background while I check my work emails on my laptop or on my phone has been a great little feature. One feature that I thought I was going to be annoyed by like I am with my home security system is the motion sensor. While I do get alerts when he is moving around they aren't insane like with the dogs and the motion sensor function on our home cameras. I finally had to turn it off for my security system but for this monitor I've left it on and it isn't overwhelming. The camera is a 960p camera. So it's better than HDTV but just short of Blu-Ray movies. That said the quality is actually really good. The home security cameras are 1080p and we can't tell the difference in quality. Zoom function works really well! We can zoom in and see his chest rising and lowering so we know that he is breathing. Lastly, another feature that I think is super cool and my little guy seems to love is the 2-way audio function. I can talk to him while I'm not in the room. So if I'm tied up on a work project I can talk to him and soothe him. I have been telling all of our friends about this product. Two have purchased one of these bundles so far and a third will be. I honestly can't say enough good things about this product. I am blown away by it. I am going to be checking out their product line and seeing what else we can get to compliment this system. While none of us have been given a manual for parenting I feel like this product has helped me ease in to the role. My son is my world & I get insights in to the little guy like I would have never been able to do had it not been for this product.

I must say every family with a new bundle of joy would truly benefit from the NANIT. The info it collects is amazing. The Swaddler was very comfortable on our little girl and she slept like pea in a cute little pod. It tracked her heart rate as well as time slept. Not to mention my wife loves the built-in camera. That also alerts you of visits to the crib. The app is very nice and easy to navigate. And the included year of Insight is great. Do yourself a favor and go check this one out. The coolest I've seen for a Lil one on the market

Who doesn't want the best birds eye view of their baby?! As a new parents we were nervous to start our baby in his own crib but at 8 weeks old we started sleep training and by 10 weeks he was sleeping through the night (10-11 hrs) in his own crib!!! Yes more sleep for mom and dad! This monitoring system from Nanit has been amazing. Always get notified if anything happening in the crib and you get a short video clip of your babies entire night to watch for sleep patterns etc. It's been more entertaining now that he's flipping to his back and actually falling asleep! (He was waking because he's a tummy sleeper). Crystal clear picture quality was a MUST for us

zero stars, it does not even work, waste of money.... buy anything else

We upgraded to this kit from a standard baby monitor and we are totally blown away by the Nanit. It has everything you could imagine and more, but my favorite feature is the humidity sensor. We run a humidifier in her room, so this helps us to know that we have adequate coverage and humidity levels with the built in humidity sensor setup. The two way communication is something else that we use a lot, and helps us calm her down without risking waking her up and we can also communicate if we need something while we are in her room. I could go on all day about how awesome this system is, if you want the best then look no further!
