After 6 months, you lose access to some of the most basic and helpful features. There is a feature that will tell you when the baby was last put in or out of the crib, very useful for tracking how long your baby has slept. Locked behind a paywall (on a product you paid $300 for). Another feature that shows you the history for the last week. Locked behind a paywall.

I will say having to choose the stand vs. regular mount is a hard choice> I may still buy the floor mount to ensure I can get it into the right spot and not have it so semi-permanently attached to the wall.
