These lights are awesome! They definitely feel professional grade and have a bit of weight to it, the body seems to be made of metal with magnets built inside of the led lights to easily place them on a metal surface like the metal Pegboards i just bought for my DIY Youtube Channel or the back of studio powered monitors or even the back of a Computer Monitor like the Razer Raptor 27" Monitor that had a metal base to give your background or gear some nice Ambient Lighting. In my picture you will see these lights in action at 20% brightness. The orange light on the right looked brighter at 20% so i will need to lower the brightness on it vs the blue light to make them look even whenever i actually record a video. Over all i love these lights! I will be buying 1 more to finish my set up as i ordered a Music Studio desk so this will definitely bring some life to my content and hopefully bring my viewers to my videos, better quality videos comes from background lighting. Background music and A goof camera and editing software. As for charging the lights, mine came 80% charged so it took less then 5 minutes with my samsung 5 volt 2 amp fast charger from my note 9 to charge up the lights, by the way 5 volts 2 amps is exactly the charger these lights need using a USB Type C cable, the Note 20 Ultra Super Fast Charger Does NOT work with the NANLITE PavoTube ll 6C RGB LEDs so please dont try to force charge it as it can possibly break your led light and as you notice on the price this is not a cheap light and it doesn't feel cheap either. To power it on, you press and hold the power button till the little screen says Nanlite then immediately let it go and the light will turn on. It will be in a coop white color, to change the color to your liking, just press the mode button to toggle through the setting on the screen and press the + or - icon to make it brighter or darker, change the color or change the light from static to strobe etc. Very easy to get used to it. Depending on how bright you have the light, the display will tell you the expected battery life, the brighter you turn it up, the less battery life you have and the dimmer you have the light, the longer your battery will last. Im not sure how warranty works with nanlite because there is no way to register the products they sell on their own website nor is there a way to create an account to do so like other manufacturers. I reached out to them but never got an answer from the rep assisting me via facebook. Anyways i hope you found my review helpful and i hope i didn't leave anything out.

I’ve heard great things about the Nanlite Pavotubes and was so excited to see that Best Buy starting caring these. Let me tell you this light does not disappoint! Very easy to control & the output is fantastic. Definitely recommend the $10 egg crate you can buy separately so you can direct you light when needed. Fingers crossed that best starts selling the larger ones!!

The Nanlite Pavo Tube is a super cool and versatile light. I bought it to use as a rim light in my videos, placed a few feet off to the side of my upper body. But it can also be used to add background color to make things look more interesting. On top of standard white light, it has 360 shades of RGB colors (full rainbow), complete control over the brightness, color temperature, and saturation, and a ton of special effects and settings, such as fading and flashing lights. It also has mounting holes on the top and bottom for a tripod or bar mount, a carrying strap for handheld usage, and it's magnetic, so you can slap it onto a metal object and it'll stay in place as it casts. It's small, but the light it casts is bright and vivid, so don't be fooled by its size. If you do need a bigger one, Nanlite makes larger size variants. It's also light weight and cool to the touch, even after being on for 30 minutes. I paired this light with the black fabric grid wrap that narrows the beam from 180 degrees to 40 degrees. This allows the light to be cast in a specific direction, for the purposes of my rim light. I'm pleased with this light, and how versatile, user-friendly, and bright it is.

Love the different color settings and the brightness it can reach. Of course battery can drain fast, but if you got a hardline off power you’ll be fine
