The connectivity through the apple home app is kind of spotty at times, but through the nanoleaf app they work great. Lots of different colors.

It supports thread and should support Matter in the future. Something I didn't like is that like most lightstrips you can only cut it at designated markings that are like 13 inches apart, so bear that in mind because the length of this thing may not fit your needs

Not Sticky Enough + HomeKit is Buggy

The adhesive is not sticky enough, and the HomeKit support is a little wonky and is not always responsive. Thread support is a nice touch, however.

The Thread network is quick and seamless, the scenes are very cool (with the Nanoleaf bulbs especially). The app is a nightmare to figure out, but once you mess with it a while, if your tech savvy enough you can get things set up to work just how you need. Once I had all the scenes I wanted to create (or download) in the Nanoleaf app, I began to use the Eve for HomeKit app in it’s place, or the native Home app. This saves me having to delete the random scenes that the Nanoleaf app insists on creating or altering when I open it. The light strip itself is not as heavy duty as say, the kasa light strip I had before. And while the white light is almost blinding, the colored lights are rather dim. In summary, I’d say I’m pleased with this light strip now, though I was very frustrated when setting it up with Nanoleaf’s terrible app.

This works perfectly and I am happy with my purchase. $50 seems like a lot for a strip of led lights, but this seems to be the standard price for devices from other comparable brands.
