Poor software integration and horrible connectors

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, the software used to control this light strip is mostly useless if you have not entirely bought into their eco system. I gave these a try to see if I would like to use some of their other products but so far I will be staying away. For my uses it was fine to use the inline controller that is between the power supply and the wiring harness for the light strip. My biggest issue is the connectors on said harness. There is no locking mechanism and loose tolerances on each end causing it to come loose, and therefore some or all of the LEDs will stop working until the connector is reseated. Upon reseating the connector, it has to be in the perfect position to continue working and the smallest vibrations will make it loose again. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a LED light strip, especially a "smart" one.

The Nanoleaf app is terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s terrible can’t even use scenes on the strip light because the app will not allow the firmware update to go through. I’m told to retry for eternity like it’s in purgatory.
