These are so much fun. There is the obvious setting the lights according to a pre described light configuration but they also respond to touch and sound. Crank up the music and watch them move to the beat. I ended up buying two different sets. One for behind my two Apple Cinema Displays and second set for the basement wall.

Easy to use and set up. Look great. Let my daughter set them up an she couldn't be more happy.

Watching spells, in-game weather, and weapon discharges jump from the screen to my living room wall with Screen Mirror is almost worth the non user-friendliness and general clunkiness of the Nanoleaf app. The Rhythm function is pretty cool, and with several sets of panels and the right playlist it could be a phenomenal backdrop to a party. In any case, it’s easy to assemble and initially connect, but kind of a pain to configure.

I bought these for my sons room. They are easy to install and are very bright.

Very easy to set up, the app can take a few mins to get used to, but has a very nice library with presets for the lights. Also, I can say that these work with apple homeKit just fine, and did not have any issues adding them to home.

They work pretty well! Had a little bit of trouble connecting them and keeping them connected, but after turning the WiFi on and off they stayed connected. A great birthday present!

These are really great lights and my kids love them in their rooms. They like the music aspect as well as the tapping aspect. Plenty of light options and designs. Every now and then it takes a bit to connect when opening the app, but nothing terrible. I may end up looking to switch all of my Hue lights over to Nanoleaf, given the "thread" integration, which is much faster in responsiveness.

This is, by far, one of the worst products I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The highlights: 2.4 GHz wifi only Non-Intuitive App Lines Syncing Issue Warranty Policy is Frustrating This product only works on 2.4 GHz wireless networks. To make this work, I had to downgrade my home wireless from 5GHz to 2.4 GHz. You could stand up a new network specifically to support Shapes, but then integration with other brands products via Razer Synapse breaks. Their app on Android and PC is clunky and not user friendly. Additionally, setting up their Lines lights requires a Thread Router set up via the app if you have Shapes. This process is not seamless, and the Lines would often loose sync with the app, requiring frequent power cycling. When I did have an issue with the Shapes controller, the chat customer support was nice and prompt, but in order to get an RMA I had to record a video of the product not working, follow their troubleshooting steps, and upload it to them. Once they reviewed the video, they granted me the RMA and are shipping a new controller. I've never had to do something like that before and it was pointless and absurd. I strongly do not recommend this product and would encourage you to look into other brands. I have lost many hours troubleshooting Shapes and Lines and will take it all down if I run into another issue, regardless of the investment.
